Its weird that mostly people like Joe Rogan would need a long explaination like this. Its so obvious when we dont want a phone case and we love our new phone. But Joe Rogan is getting this much of explaination so that he can stop being defensive about it. Thats quite annoying imo. He has been doing podcast for so long, and he is always gonna need that.

He keeps saying poetry, art and music... but has he been out of his garage lately? Music sucks, art sucks, poetry gone and don't get me started on architecture. We killed the beauty thanks to satanic nerds like Ray (and Bill!)

I'm not necessarily theist and yet I still believe this man missed the point. Fine tuning is not just about the exponentially low odds of its exact configuration. It is also about the causal nature of its very existence; the universe exists hence it has a cause, it's inception reveals it. Many renown scientists believe finetuning to be more credible than randomness.

The chuckling after declaring one's ignorance of math is our way of coping with the fact that we suffered, emotionally, and even physically, through years of being made to feel inferior because once your in algebra it sometimes isn't easy to even understand the concepts being thrown at you, much less how to do complicated multi-step equations. And then if you don't get it fast enough, you fall behind then it becomes impossible to keep up. My entire academic life, math was a never-ending cycle of failure. I went to summer school every year I was in high school and didn't graduate on time because I hadn't met the math requirement. More people with robust extroverted personalities have to start becoming math teachers and they have to know how to explain what the hell is even going on!

how is it satisfying to say that because we are here to observe nature, nature wasnt created by god??? this is absurd because god could have created everything even if we were NOT here to observe and secondly, the reverse makes sense that - because god created, we are here to observe.

5:35 if a Christian looks at space and says it exists that way because I’m here…..then they need a lesson in humility. I don’t know any sound God-fearing and Christ-seeking Christian who would think this way.

You are not flipping it the right way mr neil you should throw it so that it rotates in the air and then land on your hand i do it with 99% fail rate usually but you will break lots of devices in the process if you play music while it rotates you will feel a change in the sound of the music try music with instruments like 🎻 or 🪈 P.s i would be happy to demonstrate but i dont have two phones at the moment 😅
