Hello, I have an E62 error on my AEG Lavatherm Protex dryer and the compressor is not starting. Can you help me please?

Fails to mention it it's very important where to locate a condenser or heat pump dryer if you have them in the garage especially in the winter they just don't work because the temperature is too low, Don't make that mistake,you can leave it on all day in the garage and it still won't dry if temp outside is below 8oc. You have been warned

When u buy heat pump, after 1-2 years u will curse yourself and going back to vented dryer . Cant dry ur towels no matter what you select in the heat pump. Cloths are always damp 😂😢😂

Think about what you save in the winter when you pump your hot air outside while it runs.

An hour and 15 minutes for five towels. That’s a long time. But again, energy savings. One needs to consider that the complexity of a heat pump dryer is much more than a regular dryer whether it be electric or gas. I’ve had my gas dryer for over 16 years and I’ve had a couple of minor maintenance requirements. So I have spent very little money on it. if the compressor goes out or there’s a leak in the refrigeration cycle on the heat pump dryer you’re talking big bucks to repair

I was interested in how much watt it pulls in operation, because that's a big deal for solar. The lower the peak watts the smaller of an inverter you need. I heard these heat pump models on need a 15 amp plug which is also a big deal for alternative lifestyle options. Tinyhomes, vans, off grid, etc. The lower you get power wise the easier it is to run off solar.

3 march 2024, I have just opened up an AEG lavatherm heat pump dryer ( neighbour's ) found a broken belt, AND everything is covered in fluff, even into the electric motor windings-as it is not covered nor a sealed unit,, ON THIS ALONE- I would only buy a vented dryer, to avoid any house fire, recommend staying with clothes racks

Good video but are you serious with your comment about being able to put the load cover away being silly?? Many times loading my Renault I've wished for somehow to get that thing out of the way. Sometimes you just have to leave the dumb thing at home, which takes preplanning. I consider this a excellent feature. As for lowering the boot floor, now it's uneven with the rear seats down. This is bad when loading something long and heavy Also I wish the Aussie Mondeo did that GPS antenna thing but there's no mention in the manual

Great video, was the towels dry in the Samsung as you mentioned they were nearly dried I’m worried that I would have to wait an age for clothes to dry, we’re a busy household with washing done on a weekend

Thank you so much fot that test what no-one do. Very helpful wideo. I use a the same model indesit for 13 years and about twice a day use every day, but now is broken down. And thing with one to buying.
