Same here but Tera does still exist on private server. Check out terastarscape.com. I recently started playing again. You have to start out from the beginning again but they give you a level 70 scroll and everything needed to restart. Also you can join their discord and there's a lot of good info to catch up.

I believe the permanent one lasts 24 hours. Temporary ones last 10 minutes. I haven't played since servers migrated to tera EU, so I'm assuming that it's the same still

PVP in Tera is poop.

If you have good ping, that's one of the most important factors. Others are using consumables such as bravery potion and food such as lamb & lein root beer. Then priest or mystic buffs that help increase speed as well. Lancer's Arush also helps increase speed and brooch of course

Hi. In that part starting at 19:50, I did combo attack + debilitate + spring attack + combo attack + shield barrage + spring attack + wallop. My play style is slightly different as over the year I've gotten better in maximizing the combos during A. Rush. Not sure if you're on console or pc but things changed over the year with more skills on pc. For a normal boss: I Guardian Shout but I do this as I am walking in since it takes time for the skill to apply and rest of pt is coming in too. Then I would debilitate (so boss gets endurance debuff) + spring attack (so this helps me get some aggro). Some bosses may hit right after this, so I block + shield counter + spring attack. Then + challenge shout + infuriate + A rush + brooch. By this time, the party is ready behind the boss ready to attack. The way I start the boss is my personal preference. Some lancers (right after guardian shout) just do challenge shout at the beginning + infuriate + A rush, etc...then they apply debilitate and so on. These are how my chains look from the beginning in most fights: Debilitate + spring attack + block + shield counter + spring attack + challenge shout + Infuriate + A.Rush + brooch + lein root beer + pet buff During A rush, you want to maximize all your skills as much as possible to get as much dps and every boss is different, there are no set chains, it depends how they attack. So a chain sequence could look like this: Shield barrage + spring attack + wallop + super leap + shield counter + spring attack + Stun + onslaught + shield barrage + spring attack + shield counter + spring attack + debilitate + wallop + super leap And in those chains, sometimes I find myself combo attack quite a bit. I think it's a habit.

Sadly this is how tera has been for a really long time now. It's all about endgame farming for materials and nowadays gold is earned through vanguard requests from dungeons. Before the gold nerf a few years ago, there used to be drops from bosses but everything was nerfed. Open world was quite fun actually back in the days (events, big bams, etc) but with the Meme's going on at eme for past year, there's barely any fun activities anymore. It's like BHS is telling them they are not allowed to do anything. NA is the only region with issues while the rest of the regions for Tera are benefiting greatly.

@@Redmezz At this moment yes there is quite a lot to do endgame. If you have a good "friendly" guild who can help you get up to speed and/or people that you can run with, it would make things easier. Right now the current gear system to enchant from stormcry and up can be quite painful for a new or returning player from what I heard. Let's not even talk about heroic, that's even worse. Heroic is not required for endgame but if you want to conquer the highest endgame content (bahaar), then heroic is needed. For the dungeons as you get higher and higher, it does get more challenging but the higher you can go the better rewards and also better gold from vanguard.

Race doesn't matter in pve, it might for pvp. The race I chose (amani) is based on my personal choice :)

i5 6600k 3.4ghz MSI RX480 GAMING X 8GB 16 GB Ram Memory 1TB SSD It's a bit smooth because I still use an old video driver from oct 2016. For some reason if I update to the latest graphics driver, my tera is not as smooth. I still haven't solved that issue so that's why I still use the old driver. And also tweak some settings in s1 engine help quite a bit and changing your video card software to performance on nvidia or ati depending on which one you have.

Brawler and lancer alike have the same amount of block power which is awesome.

it was great at that time but Sadly this content is much easier now with awakening and better gears. Nowaday's It takes mere 50 seconds to clear this phase now and most are in slaying setup. This was recorded when this content first came out in December 2016, and at that time it was challenging. It's a 20 man raid now but whole lot easier. Item level doesn't really matter much nowaday's, that is mostly for if queuing dungeons. But as a new player this type of content looks exciting.

Well tera has been out since 2008 and it has survived this far. But the game has been a bit less active lately, mostly due to same content longevity, lack of pvp content, optimization issues and other things. I personally love this game because of the combat and fun factor when fighting the big bams but it has been a tough hill to climb this past year or so. Good news is that more classes are getting awakened later and also there is a server merge coming I think next month, so that may revive the population a bit more.
