Cheers! Installation instructions are on the download page. It may be slightly different dependent on what platform you use for TW (Steam/EA App/CD) but should still be through the AppData path

That one is just a slow slugfest once you capture the base. If you lose one of your MLRS before capturing it, you might as well restart.

Greetings RedDead Smeg. Can you remake the Mission Map of C&C Tiberium Sun Firestorm GDI Mission 3 (Quell the Civilian Riots) into Tiberium Essence? In this remake of the mission, could you also give it more complexity so that it cannot be speedran in a couple minutes (Like in the original Firestorm)? Some suggestions could be, more objectives, or expand the map. I appreciate this mission because it's the only C&C mission where you only use non lethal units to deal with enemy combatants. Really looking forward to playing a remake of this mission in Tiberium Essence if you're up for creating the mission.

Hi, FS GDI 3 would be one of the most complicated to remake, but there is a good chance I'll attempt to do it once I finish up all the TS missions. Speedrunning doesn't bother me as it's the players' choice in how fast or slow they want to go if they know the mission quite well, and I've never designed these missions to be overtly difficult, though I will be changing some aspects of a particular mission if either the original doesn't make sense or the mechanics are too difficult to replicate in TE (FS GDI 3 isn't included in either criteria but it will be a slog to script). I enjoy the mission too for the exact same reason, so, should I feel in the mood for it, I'd make something similar on a brand new map. Apologies if this disappoints you, but I hope you understand where I'm coming from

The Forgotten Mod uses TW's mission select screen (specifically the Scrin campaign one I believe). This one has you choosing the mission inside the map itself.

Hi, if you can't see your playable border, go to View>Show Map Boundaries If you've made a skirmish map, they will be in the Skirmish option, if you made a single player/mission map, it will be in custom maps

Because that particular video is meant to be seen in full screen, the video is squashed in the radar transmission window. I tried to script it to go full screen but it wouldn't play sound for some reason

I have a question How did you create files from Act II Steel Talons 1 mission map like map.bin, map.manifest, map.imp, map.relo, map.str? Can you make a video tutorial and talk about adding a unit to LogicSet? I already had no idea how you added a special unit called "Colossus" at WarFactory from Act II Steel Talons 1 Mission? I recently downloaded TE Act II Steel Talons: Dying Sun (Complete), added the map to my Maps folder, then I decided to go through the Act_II_Steel_Talons_1 folder and deleted all unnecessary files such as map.bin, map.manifest, map.imp, map.relo, map.str. (I thought that these files were unnecessary, but they are needed for the mission) Then I went into the game to play the mission Act_II_Steel_Talons_1 built the WarFactory building and the military transports were simply changed to regular ones, it seemed strange to me that I deleted the files as map .bin, map.manifest, map.imp, map.relo, map.str This already makes it difficult for me to make this map.bin, map.manifest, map.imp, map.relo, map.str Please make a video and tell me how you did it, I really want to make a full map about the mission Is it really difficult to tell us?

Hi, map.bin, map.manifest, map.imp and map.relo are all automatically created when a Worldbuilder map is saved and are required for the associated map to work. Apart from that, there's nothing special about those files as far as I know. map.str is required if you're planning to display text during the mission and remove the 'MISSING:' aspect of the text. As for Logicset changes, it needs a dedicated logicset.xml file and only works if the map is compiled through Mod SDK. Unfortunately, I am unable to use Mod SDK for some reason on my relatively new PC, so I won't be able to show how it works in a video, nor do I have the time to as I'm working on other projects.

I have completed 6 out of 9 challenges. Each level design is unique and fun in my opinion. 😊😎 The difficulty of each challenge is also optimal. It's not too easy and not hard, but it's objectively challenging indeed.

Just stumbled upon this and gave them all a try. Managed to beat all of them, some being A LOT harder than others, bordering on impossible. Now I'm not the best C&C player, but I completed these all on Hard, and primarily used GDI, apart from the GDI mission, where I used Scrin, and the Steel Talons mission, where I used the Black Hand. Before my opinion, one thing I want to say as a general point. I'm not a fan of the AI being able to rebuild their buildings and defences. This kind of takes away from any sort of progress you manage to get in these missions. For example, the GDI mission, I had to cheese veterency on my Eradicator Hexipod to even attempt to try and siege the main base. But after every attack, they kept on rebuilding their defences, and sieging became almost impossible. Here's my review of it I guess: GDI - This one was good, a bit too much going on in my opinion, but well rounded. 7/10 Steel Talons - This one is by far my favourite! Great map design and great base. Wasn't too challenging but not too easy either! My only critique is some or the pathing issues with units, but almost perfect! 9/10 NOD - In my opinion the worst. The stealth towers ruin it for me from the get go. Doing anything is almost impossible with how many there are. I think you should cut the amount of them they're are by at least half. 2/10 Black Hand - Not horrible. However my main takeaway from this was one, the space to build your initial base is way too small, and two, the amount of Specters and the ability to not properly target them made for such a painful experience in terms of trying to clear them out. You should redo this. 5/10 Scrin - This map isn't very good. The map is way too large, and the radar being disabled makes navigating it pretty much impossible. You should rethink some of the mechanics on here. The objective isn't the problem, it's how you go about beating it that is. 2/10 Reaper17 - This is the second best map in my opinion. Great map design and not too bad of a base. A few too many antiaircraft guns in my opinion but apart from that great. I LOVED the mechanic you put in, restricting your income to capturing those structures, made the game unique! 8/10 Anyway just thought I'd leave this here for you to use to help better the next few maps and maybe improve the other ones. Again, I loved all the work you put into all of these regardless! It's fantastic to see people still creating custom mission based maps. It's something I'm trying to learn as well currently. Anyway, goodluck for the rest of them!

The problem with having the AI not being able to rebuild anything is that it would make the challenges extremely easy to beat as all you would have to do is take out their production structures with airstrikes, support powers and superweapons for the AI to be completely useless and therefore boring. The AI usually only rebuilds around their outposts and superweapons, so you still make progress by destroying their structures not close to any of those structures. "NOD - In my opinion the worst. The stealth towers ruin it for me from the get go. Doing anything is almost impossible with how many there are. I think you should cut the amount of them they're are by at least half. 2/10" There's a large Nod structure called 'Civilian Structure' (helpful, I know) south of your starting position which, once destroyed, will disable all Disruption Towers on the map. The structure itself is not stealthed and just above the southern-most Voice of Kane statue. "Black Hand - Not horrible. However my main takeaway from this was one, the space to build your initial base is way too small, and two, the amount of Specters and the ability to not properly target them made for such a painful experience in terms of trying to clear them out. You should redo this. 5/10" I disagree with the lack of building space (thought I do understand where you're coming from). There's plenty of space if you expand to control your side of all 3 bridges on your starting island. The enemy Spectres can be easily targeted with aircraft and artillery of your own, especially if you use the 'force fire' command. It will not be redone. "Scrin - This map isn't very good. The map is way too large, and the radar being disabled makes navigating it pretty much impossible. You should rethink some of the mechanics on here. The objective isn't the problem, it's how you go about beating it that is. 2/10" The map size is the exact same as the others i.e.500x500 (not including the faction choice area). The radar is only down for ten seconds once you destroy a Life Form Plant or down if you attack the Mothership too early. The latter is a punishment and the former does not make navigating impossible. Again, thank you for your detailed feedback, it's the exact kind of feedback I like. I'm currently working on the ZOCOM challenge but I don't know when that will be out.
