Many thanks for this info . . .Finally sorted a 'P2149' issue with the Vivaro that it would cut out after a couple of seconds. . . Disconnected the injector 4 connector and the car started and ran on 3 cylinders . . Eureka!! Then tested the 'new' injector connections. . only 15kohms and connection to earth . .!! . . bad injector!! . . .Great info.

Thanks for this. Now that I've done this, is there anything else I can do to make the injectors easier to remove in the future? Any sort of oil that I can soak on top of the injectors? I don't need them out now but thinking of the future

you should also check the capacitance (farads)

Should I get those reading on a 2012 passat 2.0tdi I have code for all 4 injectors open circuit and did resistance test and got 0.7 ohms on all 4

Doesn’t work with all injectors, Bosch 0445110030.

I had the opposite problem, in that I’d done a lot of work on my van so the bones had been open for some time, then when I came to close it, it wouldn’t stay latched at all. This video really helped if only to explain how the catch works. I managed to tease out the blade from inside the catch with a small, flathead screwdriver so it was fully extended then gave it a good clean up and greased it. Using a lager screwdriver, I then pushed it in and out a few times to loosen it. Finally, I followed the instructions in this vid to get it perfectly aligned 👌🏻

Hi sorry to comment here but on a 2ltr m9 I get consistent error code p0002 and p0002F6 but runs ok turn ign off and back on clears for short while getting worse which would be the best move on the fuel pressure rail to change or would boost worth doing clean everything suspect wire damage but where to check first

Can you cnage the the faulty electric part of the injectors and make it work? Can you find parts?

It took me hours to get the front end of i removed the radiator to get to the starter motor what a job all that for a starter motor Sheeesh

Can you test the glow plug module, ie power and earth in on the big spades, 4 injector out, but the 2 smaller wires, should one of them be power in to operate the relay ?

When you remove the radiator can you fully access the oil cooler so i can replace as can not find a video anywhere on the internet showing a oil cooler being replaced

What if it has around 188 but then drops to infinity, i have 3 reconditioned that all do this, i fitted them and car runs rough

Great video, I also put sealant behind the plastic scuttle were it touches the window.

V5 description :- vauxhall movano dti 3500 mwb 2799cc 2001, it has the old school key pully on top of high pressure pump so hopefully its a simple fix because new part is £3500, second hand £700 or refurbished is £400 but if I can change seal myself happy days Thanks for reply martin

Finally a well explained mechanical video no messing about Martin your a legend mate, wonder if you can help my situation, iv got a vauxhall movano 2.8 tdi the high pressure fuel injection pump is leaking under moving part on top of pump witch accelerator cable is attached too. I can see star head and nut screws so can i change a seal or will I have to buy second hand/ new one ? Thanks Martin if you have a garage I would be happy to pay you to do job. Let me know
