I remember when these avionics looked so futuristic. Now with all the new packages that are widely available, these things look ancient as hell.

if the average person would stop to contemplate and appreciate the engineering and education it takes, in this video we just watched....the world would be a much better place...

it's funny but actually up front in an aircraft banking, unlike here, it's the horizon that moves while you feel like you're going straight and level

The bad thing about being a Boeing pilot is that one bad day at work could mean disaster for you and a hundred others. Hope they pay these guys accordingly.

Flew on a virtually empty DC-10 from SJU to LGA a thousand years ago. Believe it was Eastern Airlines. Stretched out at the very back of the plane across all five center seats… slept the entire way… best flight I’ve ever had incl Falcon trijet private and old United business class across the Pacific.

Planes always look like they are going SO slow when they rotate, You look out the windows and it looks they're doing 80 kph lol

Everytime I fly into Amsterdam we land on 18R and it takes so long to get to the terminal I worry the plane might run out of fuel!

If you listen carefully, you can hear the tornado inside the fuel tank during take off. @the southern hemisphere, the other way around ofc
