Which how the spider eats a white mouse that it's his dinner and he likes eating mouses is how you feed your spider
Is this a aborial species or fosorial?? Definitely something to be very careful about when dealing with them!

"It's cruel but natural...." Says the guy who imported a spider from THOUSANDS of miles away, keeps it locked in a glass prison its entire life, and HAND FEEDS IT tiny mamals that he buys in a pet shop. Yeah mate. All natural there!
@metaknight11511 ай бұрын
Spiders are purely instinctual, and don’t require space to roam around like more intelligent animals such as a snake or a lizard, and he probably bought that mouse from a dedicated reptile/exotic pet shop, where live bugs and rodents are available in mass to feed to your tarantulas, snakes, lizards, and other scaly pets
@TheVanillatech11 ай бұрын
@@metaknight115 Sorry, what part of what I said was "wrong"? He said it was all natural. I refuted it. Not sure why you are telling me where he bought the mouse from, or about the instinctual habits of the spider.
@metaknight11511 ай бұрын
@@TheVanillatech Well, this isn’t a cat or a dog, it’s a spider. It’s tame, not domesticated, it still has natural instinct, which is why it’s best to replicate their natural habitat as much as possible. It’s why people give them space to burrow and such, give them any sort of enrichment they’ll actually use. Basically any pet is “trapped with you”, your dog or cat is trapped in your home, your fish are trapped in their aquarium, your bird is trapped in it’s cage, but they don’t care, they’re perfectly happy being in captivity (as long as they get their free time, I’d love to have a bird but I know they need at least four hours or more outside of their cage).Tarantulas don’t care about being in the wild, if they have space the burrow and a clean source of water and food, they’re happy. I’m saying he didn’t buy that mouse from petco or petsmart, that mouse was specifically bred to be fed to exotic animals like tarantulas, small snakes, and large lizards. He didn’t pretend to buy a pet so he could secretly feed the mouse to his tarantula, the people who sold him that mouse knew exactly what he was going to do with it.
@metaknight11511 ай бұрын
@@TheVanillatech Another point, what do you mean imported thousands of miles away. My local reptile shop is about a seven minute drive, there’s like a dozen tarantulas stacked in the upper shelves.

That mouse is dangerously big for that tarantula and could've seriously harmed it. Additionally, if your tarantula isn't fully grown and going to moult again, having high amounts of calcium in their diet (and mammals have lots of calcium) could result in moulting issues, potentially killing your tarantula. Also obnoxious click-bait titles like this just create more fear and misunderstandings for arachnophobes.
