They seem ok but not great. The pixel phone and the iPhone seem to take better photos. Pity, I like Motorola phones but I don't like that the Camara processes photos so slowly that it has to announce: Processing!

Wrily, You show the same thing that my old Galaxy Note 10 + can do, all the history the emoji it il for maybe girl 10 ans ( but they don't buy a phone for $1800.00) the change de photo who it is interesed maybe 1 or 2% but the rest to pay $1800.00 for sameting don't will ouse never . Why don't speec about all bugs with the emails program it jam all times the corector suppose to help you but , is for the ( Cina peuple ) the program to search in the photo it is not to help US. ,to explain what is , ,Not it is to find where to BUY it is a GOOGLE tools for sell . Before I charge for Samsung because can ouse the SD card and not liked the Apple politic ( fight beetven jailbreak) but now Samsung do exactement sameting like APPLE they want the MONEY . I bought the now ultra 24 and I regret my old NOTE 10+ ir make all this , maybe the camera alitle bit more better. If somebody now looking to buy a new phone I suggest PIXEL or ONEPLUS. Now more the half price is for LOGO.

I do not know the quality of those Intrepid cameras, I have only used Linhof and Sinar Cameras, for me precision when adjusting the Camera settings is very important, also long term use throgh many years, the Camera should still be in very good condition with as little as possible wear and tear !
@AmateurPhotographerTV2 күн бұрын
Those who own Intrepid cameras love them, but they cost probably about a tenth of what Sinar and Linhof cameras did and its fair to say they aren't designed for daily professional use, like Sinars.

My only gripe about the previews vs originals limitation is that I can’t import images to LR Classic, work on them on the go, and export them to full-size on the go as well. This may seem blasphemous to some people, but there are a lot of instances where I don’t want to keep the RAW file after I’ve processed it. I’m perfectly happy to lock some things down to JPEG and just archive those, but you can’t do that from a smart preview on your mobile device. You have to come back to the LRC desktop to finish this final step, and if I’m going to do that anyway, I might as well store the images on that computer (a MacBook Pro, in my case), take THAT on the go, and just move all the post-processed results to my NAS later. I also don’t like that I can’t set color labels in LR for the Web/Mobile. As it has from the beginning, LRW remains a half-baked, poor substitute for Classic and a poor fit in the workflow. We’re still Lightyears away from shooting with a DSLR and managing the entire workflow on a tablet. Disappointing, to say the least.

It depends a lot form the style of photographs you shoot. If you're looking for isolating subjects the OM SYSTEM (MTF) will be quite disappointing. If you want to shoot details at long distance the OM SYSTEM is the better choice.

Disneyland (the original in California) has a “camera store” at the end of Main Street, called “Main Street Photo Supply Co.” It’s been there for years, but it sadly no longer sells either cameras or film. The last time my wife and I were there about 2022, I stopped in to see what they carried. The shelves had a nice collection of old film cameras, but they were just props. I think they may have had some SD cards, but nothing else related to photography. What you *can* do is get copies of pictures that Disney staff take of you in various places around the theme park.

Minolta also ditched their old mount (MD) when introducing the 7000 (A-Mount). But somehow Minolta did not survive the digital age (well, somehow they did, because their technology has evolved into what is now Sony. But the brand name is gone…)
@AmateurPhotographerTV8 күн бұрын
Thats a good point. Ultimately it is now Canon and Minolta/Sony who are dominating the market now.

If the "standard-zoom-range" would be all I need I would go for a fixed lens camera like Sony RX100 series or others. Just much more compact/pocketable and more lightweight. I see the advantage of a DSLM when you are willing to actually change lenses on your trip. Lenses that I like to use with the OM-5 are the very lightweight (120-140g) Olympus prime lenses 12/2,0, 17/1,8 and 45/1,8 (none is weather sealed though), the also lightweight but "larger" Olympus 60/2,8 1:1 macro and for zoom lenses I think the 9-18 II,14-150 II and the 75-300 II are quite interesting and also very lightweight for a lens of that type. For me the benefit of a small traval camera dimishes if you use large and heavy lenses on them. Take 2-4 small lenses with you and your setup is still lightweight, but you will also get more options than with a fixed lens camera. I do not know anything about Fuji lenses.
