Can you put a course that is already sold on Udemy on a platform like for example teacheable and do the marketing by yourself? Have you thought about doing so?
@sumnerandali8 күн бұрын
Hi Monika! If we understand correctly you mean to list a course on Udemy then drive your own traffic. While you can do this we don't see a huge benefit as with Udemy we want to tap in to their existing audience vs. driving our own. If we have our own audience a platform like Kajabi, Clickfunnels or Teachable make more sense because you can better collect student data, control pricing, etc.

Thanks for this series! Question: I understand that you guys have 15 courses, but how many courses are you saying it would potentially take to try to reach $4k/mon within a year. One course or many? I'm unclear on this. Ps. I first found you guys when I purchased the iPhone photography course - enjoyed it - 5 stars!
@sumnerandali9 күн бұрын
Hey! So glad you found us and that you enjoyed the iPhone photography course :) Thank you so much for the feedback! So first, yes, we do have 15 course BUT we actually have *8 unique courses* - the other 7 are either a bundle of our unique courses together or a "deep dive" into a section of one of our unique courses if that makes sense (which is one of the strategies we share within the Academy). www.freedomfalconacademy.com/pricing Second, to answer your question, this would be 4-5 courses. In this video below (around 31:29) we show you the exactly breakdown. Again, the 11 months is assuming you put in about 10h of work/week based on our calculations. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpW1gIerZtJ9oM0si=yG_mBEnKd3wxvNUl&t=1889 Keep in mind for certain courses you can earn WAY more in affiliate income than whatever Udemy pays you. Also keep in mind if you "copy & paste" your Udemy course to Skillshare you can earn 10% - 20% additional profit with about 2 hours of effort. Hope this helps :)

Quick question, I noticed that none of your courses on Udemy are based on ElevenLabs. In all of your courses I can see your faces. How do you know that faceless AI voiced courses sell?
@sumnerandali9 күн бұрын
Hi Uri! Yes, we prefer showing our faces and building our personal brands which is why we personally don't use AI but just because we don't do something doesn't make it a poor option. If you don't want to show your face here are some options (ranked in order from most recommended to least) 1. Just Mic - Just use a Yeti nano mic and presentation slides or recording your screen. I know of a couple of Udemy instructors who never show their face and make a killing. It's all about the value. 2. Partnership - if you feel you lack confidence or expertise there are thousands of "experts' you can partner with who are already creating top-tier content on social media (Linkedin, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, etc). You can find a profitable topic idea and partner with these people who already create content and have camera, mic, and design skills. Where you come in is help to strategize the course, competition, outline, copywriting, and launch. You can split the revenue 50:50. 3. Overcome Camera Shyness - a camera is essentially a piece of plastic. If you can talk to human beings you can talk to an inanimate object. It might take a little practice but most people are unaware of how fast & easy it is to overcome camera shyness. Not only will this open more opportunities on Udemy but you will become a more clear and confident person in life. Full module about this exact topic included in Feedom Falcon Academy (www.freedomfalconacademy.com/pricing) 4. Use AI - Right now this strategy can work but it's not the best in our opinion. With that being said, every single month AI is progressing at extremely fast rates and soon this #4 option will be #1. Instead of waiting around you can get on the ground floor and ride the AI wave. Basically, in the near future AI will make less mistakes, speak more clearly, and be so much more customizable than you as a human can be that it will change all content online including Udemy courses. If you want the most comprehensive guide on the planet to making life-changing amounts of money on Udemy in the shortest possible amount of time, join Freedom Falcon Academy today: www.freedomfalconacademy.com/pricing

@uri-naor9 күн бұрын
Hey! I saw you actually reply to comments, so I figured I might as well ask. I'm a best-selling Udemy instructor, but I'm not making enough to do this full time (yet). Anyway, my question is, how did you spend so little time to make so many courses (10 hours a week)? I'm working probably 2 months full time per course before launching it, and that's just for 2-3 hour courses. I'm really happy about your success and I'd love to hear out your thoughts
@sumnerandali9 күн бұрын
Hey Uri! To answer your question - yes, most effort is upfront with fairly little effort ongoing. We track all of our hours with Toggle so we know that it takes us an average of 48 hours of effort to produce one course (some more, some less). At 10 hours per week this is a little over 1 month to produce a course. This includes: • topic & competitor research • course outline • presentation prep • recording • editing • copywriting (title, bullets, description, emails, etc) • pricing strategy After that it's fairly passive just replying to messages and occasionally updating content which averages us less than 6 hours per week combined for a total of 15 courses. It does depend on the content and how many times you re-record certain lectures but we can knock out an entire course worth of content in 1-2 weeks usually. We also have certain hacks where we take the same course and re-list with different title & keywords to rank. We might slightly modify this course but it will be 90%+ similarity. We also took one of our massive courses (5-in-1 Amazon FBA course) that was 21 hours long and broke it into 5 individual courses. Lastly, when you have enough courses or partner with other instructors you can bundle your own courses into one massive course. This is a huge key because you want to maximize your profit per hour. All about working smarter not harder. If you really want to take your Udemy course sales to the next level and find opportunities you'd never think on your own check out our brand-new Freedom Falcon Academy program: www.freedomfalconacademy.com/pricing 100% risk-free. If you don't find the content extremely valuable you get your full money back in 30 days. Hope this helps!
@uri-naor8 күн бұрын
I appreciate the detailed answer! Even with all of that, I'm still surprised it takes you 48 hours to create a course. That's extremely efficient of you guys. Congrats. I think it takes me around 200h. It's an interesting point about repurposing existing content into new courses. I did that a bit so I asked Udemy about their policy and they told me while it's ok to use some of the same lectures in new courses, at least 50% of the course needs to be original. So I don't know if bundling smaller courses into a big one or breaking a big one into lots of smaller ones would be legit without of a lot of extra work

Interesting I’ve been taking it every day In tablet form and I think it enhanced the skin problems on my eyelids and a few spots sort of like eczema. Which I have not had since a teenager. I thought it was the brand I got it from online and my intuition was telling me it’s that maybe because I was taking it or the ashwaganda I was taking both at the same time, every day for a while. Thanks for this information. Now when I think about it I may have had the burn out but not major because I did stop for a while so I can’t tell. But I find it hard monitoring myself. I take a bunch of other herbs and fruits and seamoss. So was unsure. But this makes sense. Thank you.

Realistically, if I am not willing to show my face or speak on mic and I also am not an expert in anything. Can I create a better course than other people who are experts, showing their face and speaking on the mic by using AI? Would people actually purchase a course that has no person behind it?
@sumnerandali10 күн бұрын
Great question Liran! The answer is yes. Instead of thinking about "expert" vs. "non-expert" think about "value". Most course/ topic ideas that you have won't be 10/10 opportunities but as you search (even as soon as an hour or two) you will find great mid-high demand, low competition topic opportunities where there are either: A. Top 5 courses are not very good. Not great ratings, outdated, short, etc. B. No courses about X topic yet on Udemy By analyzing existing course reviews you can know what students love and hate about current options. There are courses we've created where we knew very little before creating a course but spending 20 hours learning as well as analyzing keywords and reviews were able to put together a superior product. If we were talking about $1k+ courses this is easier said than done but when it comes to $10 - $20 courses on Udemy in the grand scheme of things it's not that difficult. Also think about the value of time. Let's say students (hypothetically) could find "all of the information for free on KZbin". Two things with that: 1. You don't know what you don't know so trying to find the information that exists for free on KZbin you will never find because you don't know to search for it. 2. You have to learn from different instructors, little pieces get missed, and it results in a lot of time and headache. The reason I say this is for $10 - $20 if all you do is basically take free information and put together into a solid, cohesive course people will gladly pay.
@miguel21321 сағат бұрын
I would say that it pays off to step outside of one's comfort zone. You can do a lot with AI these days, but it's missing a human touch, which may leave people uneasy. Ultimately, you could hire someone to be the public face.

I made a course teaching a microsoft certification, I removed it because I just got embarrsed (i actually got 2 sales). How do I promote it?
@sumnerandali10 күн бұрын
Hey there and thank you for your honesty. I'm sorry to hear about that. First step - make sure your course is superior. Analyze the 1-4 star reviews of top courses in your space. What do people hate and love about these courses? Does your course meet and exceed these desires and challenges? If not - improve the course first. If so: 1. Make sure in your title, subtitle, and bullets you call out specifically what makes your course unique from all other options. It could be multiple things like being more up-to-date, advanced strategies, etc. 2. Make sure you include top 5 benefits and top 5 features in your bullet points 3. Make sure you Udemy thumbnail pops in comparison to your top competitiors Once your course is solid and students can easily see that your course is superior from your copy and images follow the steps outlined in the launch questions of this video to get your first students, reviews and begin ranking and making organic paid sales.

I noticed you listed your 2 brands or companies as Projects and then you also used tags, but I didn't see you using the "Clients" function? Do you use that function to track the time you spend on customers? I am new to Toggl. For a bookkeeping business, should I use "Projects" to list the different types of main services that my bookkeeping business offers? For example, Ongoing Bookkeeping, 1099, Clean Ups. Then I would list my Clients under "Clients". Then I could go granular with "Tags" (Reconciling, Categorizing, Meetings, Build Invoices) Would that be a good way to set it up? Thanks in advance

as a new udemy instructor , what price we should set , if our course is related to youtube? and 4 hour course
@sumnerandali10 күн бұрын
Hi Shahtaj! A good general rule is to set the highest maximum price as Udemy controls pricing. The higher your course price = higher perceived value. A $200 course that you can get for $20 is more valuable than a $50 course you can buy for $20 if that makes sense?

What is Financial Freedom? We hear a lot about it but it has been misinterpreted? How can one achieve financial freedom if he has been working for clients?
@sumnerandali12 күн бұрын
Everyone has a different definition. For us, "financial freedom" means working on what YOU want to work on, the hours that you want, with the people that you love, from anywhere in the world. And Udemy is the best vehicle in 2025 to make this happen with the lowest time & money investment.
