I like that Hades’ characterisation in this show emphasises his’ lesser-known epithet of “Plouton”, or “the rich one”. He supposedly had control of precious minerals, seeing as they come from underground, so making him a mine owner is a natural fit.

Ive never seen this musical. I dont think that was sugar at the beginning-

First off, I wanna say, amazing animatic. Second off, I wanna say this song and this animation specifically is helping me come to terms with my teacher’s severe illness and short expected lifetime. I only had a short time actually being taught by her but we bonded so fast and honestly she felt more like an Aunt than a tutor. I love her so much and all I want her to do is stay where she is. Just happy with me, healthy and alive. I’m terrified of her dying and I feel like I’m drowning whenever I think about it. I think of all the times we were both oblivious of her sickness. I think if I could rewind would she be healthy? Would she not be dying? I feel like it’s almost my fault. And I don’t know what I’ll do once she’s gone. How I’ll feel. I just want her stay. So in conclusion, thank you for making this animatic it’s helped me process and come to terms with all my complicated feelings.
