Cargo running isnt that bad, I did it twice. Both times I had to do 7/6 times to complete. I would buy enough for the first 6 missions. Then switch to do the second mission from the same mission giver of the 2 choices. I tried to do, both early on and still ended uo going 7/6😂 My biggest complaint is the bugged cargo lifts.

The airlock will never connect to another ship. That has been abandoned. It is just for simple eva access.

I'm tempted to save up and get a Polaris for a few of my friends but I still don't think 3 or 4 of us is enough people for the size of this ship. It looks like so much fun though!!!

It’s amazing fun for sure. I’d say you’d need 6-8 people to run it comfortably, especially with engineering once it’s in. But it’s such a fun ship! There are smaller ones that will be just as fun though. Multi crew anything is good :)

I have a fond memory of this evening. Was in my Spicy Chicken (Firebird) and had run out of missiles. You all at once suggested that I was the missile, and I understood the assignment and promptly lawndarted my Firebird at 1400m/s into it's side😂 You all at once started laughing. Loved that

It's amazing how nice it can be to play on a nice large ship that doesn't just explode at the drop of a hat. The durability of the polaris allows for so many more fun gameplay opportunities.

The carrack is done for! They don't compliment each other. The Odyssey has crushed the carrack so badly that it needs a rework.

Dupree is my fav. You can find some cool stuff in the 40 or so loot crates scattered sround the outside of the base. Some crates with better loot are on the inside of the base

I would want to see how many missiles those smaller fighters like the Arrow can dodge. Or Something bigger like a C2 that (hopefully) wont be able to dodge many.

Since my cutless is all I have, I'd cram it into the bunk area of the Cutless, so it can keep me warm at night - the Mirai Pulse is speedy AF and only needs some more storage space :D

I'm a solo player, so practicality of the Polaris will never be fully usable for me, which is why I have an 890 just as a home base, 0 combat kind of setup. But my god I am excited to see so many large ships flying about! So beautiful!

1. Not a rip off at all. You can buy into this game with a full starter pack and ship for cheaper than a new triple A game. ($40-$50). 2. We support this project because of the tech and world they are building. People seem to forget that this is currently a developing alpha test, with new tech being built to allow them to actually make some in game features that would be impossible otherwise. They've aimed for the stars to bring us the most ambitions game ever made, by a country mile. Nothing else comes close. It feels empty due to scale right now, but there are over 700,000 entities in a fresh server in one star system. The emptiness will be addressed by Genesis and Starchitecht. You can google what these are if you are unsure or watch day 1 of this years citizen con. 3. This will do the complete opposite of damaging the gaming industry. In fact, maybe it will wake up some of these lacklustre studios to actually be brave to make something new and original with attention to the story and gameplay rather than just churning out another iteration of the same game they released the year before with a reskin and call it "new" and "quadrupole A". On top of this, some of the tech they have built and advancements on their engine is ground-breaking meaning other studios will absolutely look to this for their own games one day. 4. This game has been in development for 10+ years with the CIG employee count going from a handful of people to over 1000. They have achieved an incredible amount and we're probably about two thirds of the way through. To put that into context, Starfield was in the making for 10 years with a full studio behind it, an established engine and huge workforce... and that game was a generous 6/10 with lazy work arounds and the worst in ship combat I've seen in a space game. 5. In summary... let them cook and stop commenting unfounded nonsense on Star Citizen content. If you don't like it, don't watch it and don't play it. No one is forcing you. In lore, the Terrapin has such thick armour, it makes it nearly invisible on radar AND restricts its heat management ability. To manage its heat, it'd have to open its armour every so often to radiate / vent the build-up away, but choose its timing to not give itself away :) That's the main reason you have deployable and retractable armour on both variants ^^

As a crusader fanboy this ship STINNKKSS. Its meant to be a "starter" ship but its highly under gunned for any ship. (The ares is an exception as its a very purpose built ship) Very poor use of the interior, too many individual rooms and storage compartment and how to get things into said space is pretty SHIT for its size compared to other starter ships. It is very limited in everything for a ship thats meant to be able to do a lot of things. Its a starter ship that isnt good for starters...
