Actually its not bad. I want to paint my Fit this color. Its got a kinda stately brown station wagon color from some angles and a more yellow-orange hot hatch kinda look from others.

I think they added far too much, a more subtle look would have made it more appealing.. or maybe over a red base.... I don't care for the looks of what was done here..gaudy over speckled mess..sorry

The honest truth, I don't think the body work is good on the car and you can have the best paint job and that would bring a good paint job down. I love the stealth look since the "Road Worrier" dayz.

Gold is what’s up…. (Would’ve liked it more brown/rootbeer … but this mix is one of the sexiest paint/dye work I’ve seen on KZbin! Would love to see more w/ this black getting played with!) Sterling was 2nd sexiest, only cuz Alien had the most obvious flake look imo & the smallest micron vibe is why I like the hyper (I don’t wanna drive something that looks like a young girl make it w/ glitter)

Have y'all ever done, or would you consider, a video about paint jobs gone wrong? My knowledge of cars is limited to "has four wheels, goes vroom" and my knowledge of car paint is entirely based on personal taste and what I've learned here. It'd be interesting to know, for example, what "too much candy" actually looks like and why it's considered an undesirable look. You've mentioned a few other things in your videos, usually pertaining to off-ratio pigment loads. It'd no doubt be a pain and would look weird as hell for a couple days 'till you peeled it, but painting a car in sections of "too little candy", "just right candy," "ungodly too much candy" would be edifying. Probably more practical to illustrate with speed shapes but the thumbnail would be fire on a whole car. And not just candy, either. You could do exactly the same with holographics and pearls. You've mentioned colors "fighting" before, what does that look like?

Just noticed on a re-watch, but it seems like the blue from the Frosted Pear shows up in the lowlights, and the rose-gold from the GD10 and Gold Metallizer shows up in the highlights?

At the end you mention that the darker coat is a rougher texture. Could you just sand it and polish it?

Have you thought of trying this on a navy blue base? I'm wanting to have a navy to burnt orange look on my challenger, but the website chat said there isn't one yet. Currently its painted Plum Crazy, but will need repainted since a tree fell on it and damaged the front panels and hood. I've been debating going @dipyourcar route with the hypershift on it. Thoughts on how to achieve this look?

This color really reminds me of a lotus flower. We don't often get to see many pastel colors on this channel so this is sort of a treat.
