What?!? Got a touch of the copper-ish on the flares, but I see like a Cloud White/Silver thing going on. It's pretty strange from THAT color of pearl, for sure. I don't hate it, 4/5. Unexpected for definite. That 'color wheel' is a mysterious bitch, ain't she?

The white base, while not something i would pick for my own car, is a super unique color. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. It would be really cool to see a whole car with that.

Yellow could work too, maybe even orange... The purple muted out the green in this mix, but it looks good over other colors! Over white looks like it's namesake, and that's awesome!

Mantis over Anthracite, Black, Supermarine Blue and White bases is DOPE!!! Especially love that it transforms each base in absolutely different directions! Love the subtle antique silver highlights on the Anthracite and Supermarine Blue, and the vivid green shifts on black, but the absolute eye catching transformation of the white base to a cyan color. You guys think you could replicate the those antique silvery-goldish highlights that it put on the Anthracite base? That would look amazing on a black or grey base!

OMG - THIS is PRICELESS PAINT MODIFIER - Ya'll NEED to get more of this, for real! It's a strange - but AWESOME - 2 in 1 combo: its a glowing Platinum & Gold Highlight for any color (the base color chooses which one of those is more dominant, clearly), but it's also a MUTER - it tamps down the base color and makes it less loud & more subtle, more chic. Unless you use a color it vibes with - like green - and then it's ALL highlight. This particular combo is a 5/5 for me, as it came out far more chic and sexy then I would have ever guessed. I assume they discontinued it because they named it based off of what it looks like PRIOR to putting it on the vehicle - and what it does is NOT how it's named, so there was probably a lot of disappointment when it was used - because it doesn't do what you would expect it to do. But what it DOES is really great - if you know to expect a simultaneous base color muting and golden-white highlight sheen effect.

WOAH that white speed form POPS! Those brassy golds looked alright on the Poison Grape, and then looked alright over the black base but the white base just makes it do magic. How about taking the spraying it over the lightest green base you've got like the 50's Aqua or even a Sharkskin Grey?

Depends on what you mean by this. If you mean pull the car out side to show it off then it wouldn’t be worth the hassle because they would have to prep the car all over again to spray the top coat.

My best guess is that this is a simple duo-chrome, it has a base and a shimmer, the green being the base and the gold being the shimmer. In many of these simple duo-chromes the base color tends to disappear on darker colors which is why it left behind that brass color on the stick of truth but shows up very teal on the white base.

WOW that was absolutely stunning over the purple - it gave it this lavender to gold glaze that was sleek and futuristic. For the colors at the end the white was unbelievable - it's like that pearl was made to go over a white base b/c it became the same color it was in the bag!!

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say it was discontinued because the mint green hues turned out far too subtle and/or lacking in the finished products. That said, it was a great combination. Not my choice of colors, but 4.5/5 from an objective standpoint. That gold lasered off the grape, very cool effect that should definitely turn some heads.

That has to be the most versatile pearl I’ve seen you use. This is the first one that looked good on all of the sample colors, even white. Nothing looks good over white.

It's almost an uncanny valley mirror finish. Going back and rewatching show the clouds in the sky and even the windows on the building in the reflection. Trippy as all get out. Also, how does it look THAT GOOD OVER WHITE?!?!?!
