Did this-good but not too much a fan of the music. I’m doing a hormone reset -parasympathetic movement only so just trying to do yoga and walks daily. I’ve been working out hard/weights+Hiit+spin 6x a week for 20 years. I’m in my mid 40s-and I realize I need a change if at least only fur a couple of months to heal my hormones & inflammation

My right side is where all my problems are now I’m 53. I have bad right side knee pain and quad pain achy all the time and inner hip pain with pinching and hip flexor pain. I’ve been going to physio for over a year do all the exercises but it’s so frustrating. I do take bio identical hormones only progesterone and estrogen only 3 times a week since I can’t tolerated the extremely painful breasts from the estrogel. I also take testosterone cream now only 3 days a week since I also get side effects it causes me to get very irritated and angry if I take it daily. Oh I am right handed if that matters. I lift weight two to three days a week but my injuries limit me. I also have a thumb\ wrist injury of the tendon now for 4 months and where a brace for that on the right side. Just falling apart lately. But I’ve managed to lose body fat and gain muscle eating very healthy and 1 lb protein per pound of body weight. I’d love to try this. I keep trying to fix this problem I wear patella straps which help somewhat it allows me to try and strengthen my legs more. But the nagging right sided knee and quad pain just not going away yet.

This definitely resonates with me, I have hip pain in my left hip which I think was precipitated by constantly getting out of the driver's side of my low to the ground car. I'm 5'9" with very long legs and this has contributed to discomfort and hip and knee arthritis. I did not unfortunately realize this until many years later. It did not help with having a desk job at a hospital's nurse's station.

🎉I loved the walk with Moses; a great walking buddy. The music was spot on, not distracting. I even wore my weighted vest. This is a terrific way to get my steps in when it’s too icy to walk outside ThanksDebra❤ Debra

I just did this ❤️❤️❤️. I did not mind the music. I was too focused on stepping!! I loved this workout. Now I will do my squats today per your other video! I would love more walking workouts like this either 10 minutes so I can do during my work day or 30+ minutes. 👍

Hi Debra, is this walking workout considered cardio or just walking? because you had mentioned that cardio would increase cortisol leading to abdominal fat. And if the above exercise is below cortisol secretion, can you please say if I should do walking daily? And last question at which heart rate od "cardio", does the cortisol start being secreted? Thank you very much
@Flipping50TV2 күн бұрын
It’s different for each person depending on current fitness. It’s based on perception of exertion not heart rate. Unless you’ve tested on a treadmill with someone who can interpret for you, we don’t know the proper heart rate. If youre breathing through you nose and don’t need mouth breathing it’s a light movement that will not elevate cortisol negatively. Daily movement/walking is crucial.. to offset sedentary lifestyles we’ve adopted.

I love this! I did not do it today but saved it to my playlist as I've been looking for something I can do indoors when it's cold or bad winter weather. It's sunny out today so I'll be doing my walk outside with my German Shepherd tagging along for company. But you can bet next nasty day I'll pull this up and give it a go.

I like music but I also LOVE to listen to audiobooks or podcasts while I exercise. Especially "guilty pleasure" type things like true crime as I'll keep walking or working out until it's over as I'm dying to hear how everything turns out.

I will certainly be doing this, it all seems doable. It is icy and cold here and I have been slacking on excercising and I appreciate you doing this video very much. One question: will doing the same movements every day still effective? I know for weight training I try to "change things up".

Wonderful!. And yes.. variety is good.. thus is actually a step up from simply walking but getting steps in anyway you can is valuable!!

Hi, what’s your take on the 30-30-30 plan? Would taking protein before a morning walk increase fat burn/loss? You make walking so much fun!!😊 Thank you!
@debiwillis90452 күн бұрын
No, it does not increase fat burn, just may give you more energy fir your workout as long as it has carbs with it.
@Flipping50TV2 күн бұрын
Aw, thanks. Before a low intensity exercise the protein isn’t helping the exercise necessarily but always starting the day with a high protein meal will support blood sugar and hormone balance the rest of the day.. ultimately helping weight management

There are also ‘point of view’ videos on here that are ‘virtual walks’ going through gardens and cities like streets of Venice or Paris or London, etc, so walking on a treadmill with the screen in front of you propped up, feels like you’re walking through a real place 😊
