Great video and I sign up for Trust cards after watching your video. But I would like to highlight a benefit from YouTrip so that others can be reminded. For 10 currencies, you can purchase when the exchange rate is good and keep in your wallet. This is a great feature when you have plans to travel to that specific country.

Cards come cards go. Every single card bleeds any banks. Banks just cover one hole by digging another hole. Just cancel when the perks are gone. Simple as that.

VOO is now $540 Dollars right now so if you kept those you got a good amount in the last year from the stock as opposed to the price you show at the time. That is a great stock to buy and hold.

I would not advise using UOB Lady's for the transport category as the 4mpd is given based on $5 spending blocks and public transportations dont charge enough per trip to receive these miles. However, if used for private hires like Grab, Tada, Gojek etc, this category can still work.
@hallointhere5797Күн бұрын
U need to read up again on how SimplyGo txns are aggregated for MC, then u will know how the $5 blocks affect the earning rate. It defo isnt like how u say, that the $5 blocks take effect on each transport charge singularly causing 0 miles earned per <$5 single transport charge
@PENNE-Күн бұрын
@hallointhere5797 you're right, i just did a bit of digging and it seems like transport category is calculated based on the quarterly bonus instead of monthly bonus. Really good to know and factor this into the equation since transport is a huge part of my expenditure aside from dining. Thanks!
@keithang1611Күн бұрын
do you recommend using UOB Preferred Platinum if you use public transport with apple pay? Understand that they count UNI$ per $5 spent but heard that they count the UNI$ for simplygo per calendar month?

@ appreciate your reply. Thanks Demi! I’m still looking through your videos and thinking what I should use 😂 about to bust the 1k bonus points this statement month for CRMC + Amaze. Heading to JB next week, might apply for Trust. Hmmm!
@DemiZhuang3 күн бұрын
Haha. Have a video that’s going out tmr, comparing 6 multi currency card in total, take into account the cashback from trust card, effective exchange rates are better than any other.
@cinimodmil3 күн бұрын
@ yes I saw in a comment from another video on Trust. Excited and looking forward to it!! Thank you. I saw another video and you mentioned that there’s no min spend for the first month to get the bonus cash back (not sure if it’s for new customers or the first month of each quarter which I doubt so!) Considering I’ll spend less than 500 and selected category is on food in JB (will spend in SG too for the month I suppose or till CRMC bonus points resets), will my transactions be eligible for the 5% cashback? I.e., I don’t have to hit the min 500
@cinimodmil3 күн бұрын
i think i need to take into account too on the fees and the 2.27% cashback when using Amaze + CMRC vs. Trust

I used them all and confirm that trust card gives the worst rate overseas, possibly given that it's the only credit card. youtrip gives the best rate followed by wise, then revolt and lastly youtrip. trust is still better than using bank credit card but ultimately, its still a credit card and the bank is not going to give us a better rate when those prepaid credit card can use those "deposit" and earn interest. But I agree trust card in Singapore is really good! All card are used on the same day in my comparison.

This card is sadly, filled with dishonest promise if you are using it for foreign currency spending. Im not even talking about how the 15% cashback advertisement for this card that comes with T&C. The worst part is that if you had a chosen category, you will NOT earn even 1.5% cashback if you fail to spend the minimum requirement for the quarter. Meaning if you are using this card only for Travelling in one month, you wont be able to hit the quarterly spending and you are not eligible for the 1.5% cashback too. I have already confirmed this through the Live chat in Trust app after making $2k without any cashback.

Hi Demi, could you explain how you derive the commission and platform fee numbers in your video? (0.06% of traded value, min $1.98/order) when it seems to be written 0$0.99 per order and there's no mention of a 0.06%
@DemiZhuang5 күн бұрын
Hello! If you pull down the tab at the SG market price, you’ll see commission fee is 0.03% + platform fee 0.03% of the traded volume after the 1 year comm free trade for new users - www.moomoo.com/sg/broker-about/pricing
