Could you show me where the knob is to adjust the cut out pressure for the main tank? It appears it has to be taken apart to access that thank you.

I'll admit, not a huge fan of TTI (RIDGID's Parent company.) They're a little _too good_ at balancing quality vs. price on their four power-tool brands. That's not a good thing for us, the consumer. But clearly TTI puts *nearly* as much care into the construction of its RIDGID line of tools as they do their Milwaukee brand. Good to see that most of the plastic on this tool is only used on the body itself. No lifetime Warranty though. It's a lifetime service agreement. Not as good as a warranty. Most RIDGID owners have had 50/50 results when trying to use the service agreement. And I mean the folks who properly registered their RIDGID tools online within 90 days of purchase. Thankfully the quality is genuinely there. Might be the best overall brand for serious DIY enthusiasts who still want some real quality built into their tools.

Mine was leaking as well and t the fromt of the hydraulic unit actually comes off but it’s left hand threads and is on there tight! I had to make a spanner to make use of the dowel holes on the back and was able to open. Found a smashed oring. Curious how much oil these take and what weight?

My surge was leaking oil and was super low on power, wouldn't even torque down a fastener past hand tight, i got it from ebay, i opened it up and put some gear oil in the hydraulic part, it was a pain to do but worked. Just be careful and don't touch or take any of the boards or wiring apart.

This is the same as the AEG "18V FUSION SECATEURS SKIN" in Australia, except the Rigid has that extra safety lever in the trigger that the AEG doesn't have & I wish it did as it is a little too easy to accidently operate it while holding & maybe moving a branch away or something. It would have absolutely no trouble at chopping a finger off. The AEG does have a status LED in the label area which also shows when it is overloaded or on & ready. Holding the trigger in turns it on & opens the blades & holding it for 3 seconds & it closes the blade & turns off. Maybe the Rigid does that too? This is also the same as the Ryobi Secateurs (for the Australian market), although the Ryobi is a little less capable but still similar in operation. They are all made by Techtronic Industries in China. I should add, I love my AEG secateurs & they impress me too with their capabilities.

I was extremely happy with my pruner until recently. It will stop working until I re-insert a battery (tried several batteries) or sometimes a good smack with my hand. I just bought it about a month ago, so I went to register it, but the Ridgid website will not accept the model number. Looks like I will be returning this to Home Depot and buying the Dewalt instead.

I own one of these. Resently it stopped disconnecting the pump when it gets to 150psi, and it wont start when pressure drops below 120 psi ( I have to control the charge manually), it will trigger the secure valve to let the air escape when it reaches the 175 psi. I thought it was the pressure swith, but I replaced it and still doing the same problem. If you have any trick under the sleeve or have gone through a similar experience, I would appreciate you share your comments.

I have the same compressor. Where does the cylinder intake air from for the piston to compress? I was wondering if there is an air intake filter somewhere that is replaceable? I was worried about overspray from an automotive paint gun dirtying the air filter, but I don’t see any air intake/filter in your video. I used this compressor to paint 4 car wheels once, which it was barely adequate for. Maybe this compressor has no air filter??
