CityCoco electric scooter headlight upgrade to LED light plus DRL Tuning

I keep working on this amazing electric fat wheel scooter CityCoco. Time for some light tuning. The old yellowish headlight has been replaced with black housing led headlight with a DRL ring. This light should fit any motorcycle with a standard diameter of 5 3/4 inch.
How my installation went you will find out watching this video! Apart from light, I was looking into citycoco steering column as it has some manufacturing issues.

Hi! In my situation light switch had 3 positions OFF/LOW/HIGH and originally I had an option to switch them off if not needed.

so im trying to install some LED light strips on the bottom and im trying to figure out where to hook them up and which wire to connect them too.Do you know anything?

If your led strip is 12 volts you need to find the + wire that will provide 12V either on ignition on state or when you turn on the lights. You will need a multimeter to find such wire. For ground wire, you can use a frame as far as I remember. It was more than a year ago when I was tinkering around Citycoco... ;) If you don't have a multimeter or you are not sure how to use it. Find someone around who can help.

I got the YHZ-14 version. For some reason the headlight doesn't turn on at all (flashes very briefly). Turn signals and breaklight works fine. Any idea what might be the cause? I've tried new on/off switch and a new headlight. Neither fixed the issue. Tried to follow the wires to check if something has gone loose, but couldn't spot anything.

You need a multimeter and check the incoming voltages to the headlight and see if they are correct. Many times issues could be a simple poor ground connection, damaged wiring loom or short-circuit also possible in your situation. Did the light work properly before? If not then it is possible that wiring is connected incorrectly.

Hi Jose! Thanks, and yes you will need housing.. As far as I remember there were no mounting points for no housing use!
