Hi Marry! Thank you so much for watching our videos. Super glad you like the CMSB series so far. So to answers your questions: - The CMSB in terms of difficulty is easier than the TMB. There is a lot more elevation on the TMB and there are more mountains passes you have to cross. However, the TMB is 'just' 180 KM's and the total of CMSB is 500 KM's. The CMSB is a lot less crowded and you will experience true peace and quiet on the CMSB. On the TMB you will probably meet more fellow hikers. We absolutely loved the scenery as well at the CMSB, since it was more Mediterranean like. The TMB has more alpine peaks and big mountains to look at, which we absolutely loved as well. So to be honest, you almost can't compare those two trails. It really depends on what you are looking for. I would suggest hike both of them hehe :P - Sharp eye! I indeed didn't bring the Herder Gear backpack. I noticed during the many hikes we did that I like the idea of a lightweight backpack, but that I do like heaving a solid frame (back panel) as well. So I am still not sure which backpack I like more. I wouldn't bring the Mammut backpack again, which I brought during the CMSB since that frame doesn't fit me right. I do love my backpack from BACH (the Daydream which I reviewed on our channel as well), but that one is a bit big for the hut-to-hut we did on the CMSB. - If you consider buying the Herder Gear backpack (and maybe have more questions), please send us a DM on IG. It is easier for me to keep track on the comments over there. Always happy to help! Have a nice day and I hope this helps! ^Alette
