Super cool video. You could probably even do a series of teaching each song/riff in a separate video and get some good views.

Cool. Looks like a little bluegrass would be good to know for those open position scales.

Sorry but if I didn't already know what 6th intervals were the explanation here would left me totally clueless . Sixths are 2 strings that are six notes apart played simultaneously. Why you would start an introduction with inversion of 3rds, moving up Octaves , switching from minor /major sixths, then something on major /minor 3rds, then 3 plus 6 equals nine ? Don’t want to be too critical as he is giving up his time and offering free content and factually nothing he said was wrong, but that ad lib explaination was something else.

Love your lessons, I like the fact they are more geared towards intermediate players. It feels like most if not all guitar tutorials are for complete beginners, which is fine for the first few months of learning guitar but, we all progress and need further stimulas and your lessons are bang on the money. Thank you for the effort and time you put into your tutorials, you deserve a much bigger subscribtion following. All the best from a massive MT Guitar fan from England.

Great video man, thanks. I came more for the theory than to learn these specific riffs. I got a little lost a couple of times but I got enough to want to watch the whole thing again. I’ve been making a lot of “breakthroughs” lately and this is clicking with me in ways that it would not have just a year ago! Thanks!

Enjoyed this. Not a rip on you because it’s how it’s done but the diagram of the frets and strings is upside down and backward from the guitar you’re playing here. Maybe take some liberties, and tell the viewers, by flipping the diagram to match the guitar we’re looking at. I’ve been playing for a lonnnng time and it still takes some figuring to flip the situation on top of trying to learn something. Said the grumpy old man. 😊

@Mychordchronicles
@Mychordchronicles 3 күн бұрын
@@glennwoods2462 Not quite, Advanced Jumbo's are different as they have rosewood back and sides, forward shifted "advanced" bracing, and a long 25.5" scale. Souther Jumbo's are short 24.75" scale, mahogany back and sides, and standard x-bracing (sometimes scalloped).
