I've been trying to figure out this song for awhile and already learnt a simplified version. There are a lot of different versions online that are debated on what's right to play which put me off, but this sounds right and you didn't overcomplicate it at all. Also even though it's repeated throughout the song, the little nuances always seem to confuse me when learning. It took me no time at all to figure out how to play it in full from this video so thanks : )
