Hi, It depends if you're using an electronic pump or foot pump. Foot pump and slotting in floor around 20mins, electronic pump probably about 15mins. Are you thinking of buying one?? I have much to say about this boat 👎

@@Barbedhookfishing I will only be using it for pike fly fishing on some local smaller lakes I can't get my normal boat on. I will also only be using an electric outboard. Do you not recommend? Can you recommend something else? I am assuming I will need an aluminium floor for what I am looking?

@@kierangrimley6978 If you're planning on electric motor it'll be fine, anything with power this wee boats handling very poorly unless you sit on the floor. It's good deck space for a small boat, sturdy and does the job nicely. However if you were buying it new I wouldn't.. I'd buy the black boatworld inflatable boat with the Aluminium floor, similar price but its shape is a better design and will handle better with more power if you ever decided to do that, at least you'd have a good option. Saying that if you only ever use the Vanguard on fresh water with a motor around 5hp it would be fine. Do shop around 👍

Hi, Yes we've been out 😄 I took out a Friend one day and the following week out with the Missus for a short trip! I was back out myself Sunday morning 8am, it was like a mill pond! Surprisingly no other boats out until In headed back around 11.30ish. Plenty of pollock around, currently editing a catch and cook from that day 📸🎣🍽☺ You catching anything good?

Yeah we caught some good Pollock, a big wrasse and one whiting. It was a nice calm day on the Saturday when we saw you and the other rib.

@@K0K4NE We havnt caught much Wrasse out there at all but I think our lures are too big so mostly pollock. What you using for bait?

Weighted sandeel lures. The wrasse was caught on a jig attached to a trace of feathers

@@K0K4NE Ah yes I've done that a few times before works well. Do you ever fish for the bull huss and tope etc out around hunters/maiden's? I havnt but I'd like to find them..

Yes we started off with a small 2.7 wooden slatted floor then 3m air floor, around 5 & 8hp, once you upgrade to the bigger boat & engine you really feel the stability and automatically safer with the larger tubes! I love these Inflatable boats so much fun!

Hi, Thank you for your comment! I would recommend a 3meter minimum for 2 people fishing with an aluminium floor, thats what we started with and it was very doable! Minimum 3meter, 3.2 is good, 3.5 is very good and 4m is loads! My Boat is 3.5, I have a comparison video up on some inflatable boats worth checking out 👍 any other questions feel free to ask. Thanks for your advise much appreciated. Whenever I got this motor the connector that I'm using was used by the previous owner and fitted to the green hose section, I've just continued to use it the same way he did. It's probably harder to loose than just the little connector by itself lol

Air floors are great yes! Aluminium floor is just better on the water, less thrashing around which I prefer. Unfortunately you need a trailer for them though which is extra money.

Ya I agree I just bought the 16 ft heavy duty Saturn boat with the aluminum floor and we will see there wel made and top notch o don’t think I’ll get a trailer I don’t mind setting it up amd the aluminum flooor amd taking it down either as it’s good exercises for the body but we will see how it goes thanks for the tip
