Are you a Christian? I ask this because you describe yourself as a theologian. The channel amuses and the mustache is life-giving, but I am not interested in following a theologian who is not a Christian. Either way I think this notebook/journal stuff might be life changing. I am just not sure how open I ought be to other changes, the stache might lead me astray.

Don't worry, these are my misunderstandings. I'm doing this because KZbin timestamp is handy.

For me, having my place full of books, is heaven. I feel safe surrounded by books. Its your place, if you are happy, and fonction, then that is perfect. Some people have a place or desk, that shows everything is in place, but when they look for something, they have to think of where they have "placed it" and other looks like its a mess, but they know exactly where to find everything in a sec. ❤❤❤

As a big fan of your videos, you have inspired me to read books. When I was young I never liked reading books PERIOD. But from your videos I found great inspiration to read books especially books like Dune, Star Wars, philosophy, theology and etc. I would really appreciate it if you can do a video of going through each of the books you have, so that I can have more books to read that you have, please and thank you. Love your vids, keep up the great work and may God bless you on this KZbinr journey

📚 as an amateur reader, I found it very encouraging to hear a Scholar such as yourself describe reading as hard work. It leaves hope for someone like me who has inherited dozens of theology books and currently has no reading habits other than audio books.

Thanks for the helpful video! Like myself, it looks like you read plenty of comics as well. Do you also log these pages even though they are generally read in a much shorter time? Or do you mostly just log non-fiction?
@ParkerNotesКүн бұрын
Totally a personal choice. I don't feel right logging comics and graphic novels. That's just pure fun. I do log non-fiction along with fiction though

📕📗📘📙📓 Definitely a notebook hoarder Currently have a multi journal system, one for daily logging/diarying, one for story development Funny enough my daily journal works as both a diary AND a journal. Most of my day to day life is pretty routine so barely anything turns out to be emotionally charged, so I just use the space to write about random thoughts and explore ideas.
@The40ishDadКүн бұрын
When I calculate the pages I do +1. So if I read page 10 to 25 (page 25 is included)... (25-10)+1 for the "real" amount of pages. 😅

🤔. I think I watch this video, 5 times, at this time, and I get some things, as I watch it, like, if I bored, or want to watch Videos, ect, ask "why?", repeatedly, and after get the answer, write it at my book, and if i watch videos, and get some insight from that videos, I should put a book in front of me, so if I get insight, so not to forget, I should write that insight, so I can examine it latter, so I can know it insight.

Parker, do you know how much you read per day or how many books you have read in total?
@ParkerNotesКүн бұрын
I try to read 65 pages minimum a day. I'd have to check my old reading logs to do the exact math on the books but it's been 50-65 books a year for 11 years and then idk how many more I read the rest of my life lol
