📓I actually did this before I knew that it was a think😅 I had written down love letters and then when my wife and I met and began dating I wrote down our dates and the things that made her beautiful to me, like the color of her eyes and so forth. I didn’t get it all filled so the last quarter of the pages or so I put a cross necklace (my wife and I both said we wanted our marriage to be Christ/God centered) with my birthstone with a love note with it. And a note telling her the last bit of the journal is hers to continue to write special memories down in 😊 So for anyone needing ideas you can add that too, let your spouse have area in the journal to continue the memories if they want 😊

Thank You for making this video! Hi Park, I hope you're doing well! I wanted to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for your video on creating a Romantic Journal. I've watched it about 12 times now (I know, it sounds a bit crazy!), but each time I get something new from it. It’s been a huge inspiration for me, and I’ve started my own version of a romantic journal. However, I could really use your advice to make sure I’m on the right track and to refine my approach. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far: Title: *"To You, I Belong, One Thousand Years From Now!"* (Shortened to "SotN," inspired by Castlevania: Symphony of the Night + Ritual of the Night. I’m not sure what it means exactly, but I love how it sounds and feels!) Date Format: Friday, 9th August 2024 - time of writing (for example) What to Expect: My thoughts on love, life, and the future I envision. Imagining my life with my future partner, including how I see our relationship evolving. Ideas about having kids, their names, and the life I want to build for them. Time-bound reflections on how I’m feeling each day, why we’re not together yet, when I believe we’ll meet, and how I cope with the loneliness I feel in the meantime. Life Events of Thy Emperor:The good, bad, and ugly things that happen to me along the way. Epigraphs: A short saying or quote to set the theme for each page-either something I come up with or a quote that resonates with me. Additional Sections: Poems, words of kindness, lyrics, and promises or devotions that are beyond explanation. The idea is that I’m writing this journal now, and when I (hopefully) get married, I plan to compile it into a physical book and give it to my wife on our first anniversary. I want it to be something meaningful and reflective of my journey before I met her. I’m a big Formula 1 fan, so I’m thinking of organizing the journal into three "Sectors," inspired by the sport. Each Sector will have its own subsections with different colors representing different themes and emotions. For example: Orange Pages 🟠: These will go in the middle of Sectors 1 and 2. They’ll be the first entries I write, but I plan to position them later in the book, so the early entries aren’t too intense. I want to ease her into the journal. Purple Pages 🟣: These are for Sector 3. They’ll be deep, emotional, and honest-things I wouldn’t share with anyone else, but I feel need to be in this journal. Green Pages 💚: These will be at the beginning of the book to symbolize new beginnings. When I feel ready, I’ll add journals here to help my wife ease into the more intense parts of the book. Color Theory: I’m also thinking of incorporating other colors based on traditional color theory, but with my own twist. For instance, I know that traditionally, purple symbolizes creativity and royalty, but for me, it’s more about deep emotion and honesty. I’m still figuring out how I’ll use other colors, but I want to keep it flexible rather than sticking rigidly to one interpretation.I’m 18 years old, and I realize that marriage is likely still some years away for me. That’s why I’m taking this time to improve myself and work on this journal. Your video has had a massive impact on me, and I really want to get this right, not just for me, but for the woman I’ll eventually share my life with. Since starting the journal, I’ve written three Orange pages and one Purple page. I’ve noticed that I’m tending to write more from my brain than my heart. I’m still putting a lot of emotion into it, but I feel like I’m also overthinking things, which is something I’d like to avoid. I’m also unsure whether to write daily or weekly-I want the entries to be engaging and meaningful, but I don’t want to overwhelm or bore my future wife with too much detail. I’ve been debating whether to keep certain sections fixed or to mix and match the colors and themes throughout the journal. Initially, I thought about putting Orange pages in the middle and Purple pages towards the end, but now I’m considering a more authentic approach where I mix them up as I go.I’ve put a lot of thought into this, and as you can probably tell, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by everything I want to include. Your video has been such a guiding light for me, but I’m at a point where I could really use some direct advice. Could you please share your thoughts on my approach? I’m particularly interested in hearing how I can balance writing from the heart with my tendency to overthink. Also, any tips on how to structure the journal to keep it engaging and meaningful for my future wife would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Your work means a lot to me, and I’m genuinely excited to hear your feedback.
