You can melt the marshmallows and butter in a pot on the stove, just do it over low heat and stir constantly. Don't walk away from it. If I recall correctly, the Brach jelly nougat candies had walnut pieces in it. I miss the Pick-A-Mix at the stores, but understand why they took them out.

That is in no way "nougat." It may mimic the appearance of those Brach's candies (which I remember very well and looked forward to raiding every time we went to a store that had that Brach's vending display), but this can't have the texture or flavor of nougat.

My Mom actually had that clear plastic box with the recipe cards, but we got ours from inside a magazine offer? And we would yes, have to collect the cards untill we had them all🌸

Ohh, I know what you mean! We had Greenstamps in South Florida where I grew up..and there were various Greenstamp stores where we could redeem them for lots of valuable items, mostly kitchen invaluable Stuff!! Like Corningware, etc. 🎉🎉🎉

Noreen I recently had a very bad reaction from adding yeast to my recipes. Especially pizza. I was making pizza once a week with yeast. For a while now I have had a bad skin condition on my face. I would break out in pumps and have very itchy skin on my face. It turned out I am allergic to yeast products. Not so much store bought but my own baked items. I have eczema on my face. I am treating my skin with a special lotion and it's clearing up. I thought of your condition. Do you think you are allergic to yeast or gluten. You bake with a lot of yeast. The recipes are great but you may have developed an allergic reaction. As soon as I stopped the yeast my skin was much better. I felt unwell also when I ate freshly baked bread or pizza. Your nose allergies might be too much candida in your body which is created by yeast.
