I'm curious. In what situation would you need to remove your left tank and leave your right one ?

Amazing video! It's so great that you share your love for the ocean. Scuba diving is such an amazing water activity and it's lovely to see you enjoy it, keep going with these great videos, the windsurfing clips are the best! If it doesn't bother you, I'd like to give you a suggestion, a tip for the next videos: Basically, you could try inserting some comic and funny stuff... to give everyone a pinch of humor that, in the world of diving and windsurfing, can never be missing. Now, I don't think much of it, but the first thing I could think of in your sport might be peeing in the water. Once, my uncle, who is a scuba diver, peed in his wetsuit during a long diving session and that moment was absolutely funny, he even wrote "I’m peeing" on a waterproof notebook during the session and he showed it to me while he was doing it. He has always been telling me that there are 2 types of divers and swimmers: those who pee in the water and those who lie. I know it may sound strange as a request but, in my opinion, these are moments of happiness and carefree that always make everyone smile, that's why it'd be hilarious if you included lots of moments like this, if you and your diving mates want of course. I hope you like the idea and I hope you have a wonderful day!

whats the point of not looking at both first stages instead of listening to bubbles like on a twinset ?

Always love the aesthetic of sidemount, and your taking it to the next level dude )) - To be at one with equipment as much as demonstrated here take some serious skill - you make it look effortless which I know is far from the truth haha ))

Hello Tomasz, thanks for the fantastic videos! I still have one question about the roll forward, sittingvon the platform. How you cover the mask, without hurting yourself in the face area when tuchingbthe surface?

I watched this video a few times over the years (whenever YT feeds it to me), and I only just noticed your hose stowing in this clip is specific for doffing as goes 'beside the 1st loop of long-hose', rather than your stowing method for transport/donning which runs down the middle. Great work Sir!

Why no trainer (at least the one I know, or even Steve Martin) is using this method if it seems bulletproof when it comes to cylinder management? Setup once and forget! Makes me wonder 🤔

Shiiat! This is the only video in the world that shows how to don sidemount using different methods (except the paid version of Steve Marty). I also like the right hose arrangement which makes it easy to deploy when ready. Thanks @tmichura for sharing this and all the "how to" videos. I picked up a lot from them. Keep them coming.

Great video. I linked the idea of clipping R tank to D ring to help stow hose. I have been sidemount diving in the uk with 2x12l steels /drysuit etc. I have about 4Kg of weigh in my stealth. I am diving in the red sea later in the year for the first time in a wetsuit with 2x 11l alum . Any idea's on initially weight - 7Kg ( obviously will check weigh with 50 bar in tanks) - just trying to get a rough idea from others experience ? Thanks.

My question is what happens when those aluminum eighties are empty and are floating like corks
@tmichura Жыл бұрын
Let me think... when they are empty it is better not jump into the water unless you are asking me what happens when they get empty under water while you are diving them. As far as my knowledge goes when they are empty you have no gas to breathe and need to surface or you drown.
@sidemountsarge Жыл бұрын
You... adjust them. Like on any other sidemount rig.
