With a dual bladder BCD, does it make a difference whether you attach dry suit inflator hose to your left cylinder and right cylinder connecting to your BCD for giant stride boat entry so long as you have pre-inflated both (dry suit and BCD) to provide positive buoyancy at surface at start of dive with heavy Steel-100 High Pressure cylinders????

I know it's been a while since this video is made, but why would you intentionally put strain on your hose when stowing the short-hose, when you have a turret that could easily face downwards for smooth routing?

Hi Tomasz, I have a question about sidemount, can you do a back roll of a rib boat in sidemount going straight into a negative entry dive? The D-rings on your Xdeep harness do not look like the standard D-rings supplied by Xdeep. Can I ask what modified hardware do you use on your harness and where do you get those modified D-rings on your should straps please? Thanks.

You can definitely roll off a rib into a descent. Like Tomasz showed in this video you can attach the cylinders while sitting on the side of the boat, with some double-enders to your chest d-rings to help support the weight. Attach the inflator hoses and put in your reg so you have something to breathe and a way to control buoyancy. Then roll off the boat without inflating your wing. Finish set up during descent, i.e. removing the double-enders.

To answer your first question: most primary regulators come in black. Sidemount diving uses 2 primary regulators, no need for an octo. You have to balance the pressure in the cylinders, this requires swapping regs.

Yes , I do. On purpose. If you are having doubts why there are two possible reasons for your question; 1. You either do not dive a dry suit or 2. your SM instructor has not informed you about the consequences of doing it the other way round.

@@tmichura Ah I think I get it. When your horizontal in the water, the hose is held thight to your body by the inflator hose. It actually isnt trapped...

@@DroPsyDro No . It is not the main reason. When the long hose in Sm is over the inflating hose (not trapped as you call it) in case of having to donate the LH (and the 1st stage of the regulator is a short one - liek apeks for instance) the LH will get stuck and squeezed at the extension post of the valve hence it may stop the air flow as the turret of the 1st stage is forced to move down not up. But... you learn about these things during a proper sidemount course:). At least one should:). Regards.

Your Polish swearing shows your class and your English grammar only confirms that impression. What you dislike may be pathetic but is it less or more pathetic than your spool handling at the end of your great video with 22 views? Let alone the dangling and not secured second stage regulator possibly from your stage cylinder. I suggest less wine on nights preceding national bank holidays:) and more practice.
