How long does it stay in the soil before overseeding

Hard to believe 1 app killed bermuda grass and all the root system. Even with non selective glyphosate, it took me 3 apps to completely kill.

Tried it and gotta say I'll pass. The bolt started bending, eventually broke. The reach is too short and puts you in the middle of all the flying grass (dirt, rocks, bugs, etc.). The cut becomes uneven as you move... I'll use a dedicated tool for this task.

At 2:20 you can discern why bermuda was only in a particular location. Hint - look at the tree shade line. Bermuda does NOT like shade.

Great video, thank you. Especially how to flip the battery around, and how to get the grey plastic cover off the connection block. I used an extender from my socket drive to pry it. I did this change as a kind of emergency, in -24°C weather and in less than 45 minutes. None of the plastic parts broke, although it was a challenge to get the electrical cables (stiff with the cold) to bend enough out to be out of the way to get the old battery out and the new one in. Tying them off to the corner strut on the opposite side of the vehicle helped. When you put the vertical strut back in, there is a circular guide to thread it through. I also found it unnecessary to remove the positive jumper. Accessing that nut, even with a deep socket, is a pain as there is not enough clearance for the socket to seat properly and grab the nut.

Lowe's doesn't sell 1/4 in. bolts individually. An 8 pk is $10. I'm sure the same will be the case for the other parts.

No you can get a decent edger for $100 or less You can get an excellent edger for $200!!

LOL thanks for the tip and DIY edger attachment. Yea, I am too old to get on my hands and knees and do that although I wish I could. I have been using a flat shovel to edge my small yard. Its not quick but like you said I can not justify the cost of an edger for my small backyard. Thanks for the video and sharing!!

😂😂Quit being a cheap sob and buy an edger or string trimmer. A hospital bill or missing fingers or injuries are NOT worth it.

Problem is you'll have to do that every mow. A true edger goes much deeper and creates a very thin trench. This allows you to only do it every 3rd mow or so. Also you get to stand and not be on your hands and knees. I guess it works to some degree and I do appreciate the thinking and frugality

If everyone uses these products, will the resulting fluazifop-p-butyl build up to a toxic level in our soil and environment? Bermuda can have a very deep rhizome that it sends out shoots from. Weeding out other grasses from your turf is best done by hand and with a trained eye. The roots will come back.

There is no cabin filter on the 2014 Silverado WT series truck. none under the dash and none behind the glove box

...and if you want to save wear on your drill, bring a 6 inch x 3ft piece of plywood to slide the drill on, rather than the cement.

You can get a Black and Decker weed eater and edger combo for about $50 on Amazon, but I think DIY is more fun and cheaper!
