I'd complement the experience you already have with online courses on digital marketing skills. You want to have a basic understanding of different fields such as SEO, content marketing, paid advertisment (at least how it works), email marketing, etc.

Just look for "marketing automation jobs" and you will have a better overview of the market. One tip for you: Usually, companies are looking for marketing automation consultants specialized in the marketing automation platforms they use (for example, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, etc), so you definetly want to think about your skills as you are exploring full-time jobs in this field! good luck!

Great question! :) Yes it is! I only work remotely nowadays. Ocasionally, you'll find companies looking to hire in-house full-time marketing automation experts and they require the person to go to the office. However, as a consultant, as it's in my case, it's more common to find remote opportunities
