Every small town has garage sale days, usually biannual big 3 day wknds a year. Usually fall and spring, to clean out the old, and and moving. You may have already thought of this. But my grandparents did this as a fun thing to do, and did very well. Big money in older pyrex, check that out. Kinda crazy. Same with older Tupperware in good shape, not melted, now that the company has filed for bankruptcy. Farm auctions are excellent as well.

I love this as a little change of pace! My sister in law and her husband bought an entire house and contents. It was full..FULL of everything vintage. From a brand new 50’s electric shaver in the box to those awesome chrome table and chairs. Even the furnace in the house was suspected to be original. They had a plumber come check it out and it fired right up. This was a few years ago, and now they have their own vintage store. Pretty amazing profits to be made!

I’m retired and split my year between my home state and daughter’s land in southern Colorado. I’m about to get a Skoolie and have been trying to think of an income. I used to buy stuff from thrift shops and resell on EBay when I was in graduate school. This would be so much fun to go garage saling and thrift store shopping while traveling and sell when I go to my home state. Thanks for the inspiration. I’ll follow the folks you mentioned also

Sold on eBay years ago, started in 1999. It took so long back then, just getting images from camera to computer and uploaded could take an hour, listing procedures were quite archaic :) anyway, this caught my eye because my husband had the EXACT wrangler shirt when we were first married, I believe I sold it at a garage sale , also for a $1 😅
