Linnea, I may have told you this, your You Tube videos of your build were a huge inspiration to me. I was thinking of slowing down, leaving my career and traveling a lot. After watching you, I was able to get my adult son on board, bought a van and we dove into my build. Wow it was a lot, it was rewarding, frustrating and fun all at once. It turned out beautiful and I'm so proud of my home on wheels. Thank you!!! I still watch you and Chris and love to see how your lives are melding. Your land purchase is super exciting, I've been looking in CO and NM for years! I travel mostly the 9 warmer months but still have my condo in Mpls. Maybe someday we'll run into each other. Safe travels.

This podcast was so invaluable!! As someone who's only two months away from living and working on the road fulltime, I really appreciated all the insights you both shared in this episode. I got a lot of value out of hearing the journey you both are on and how far you've come. I really hope you do make a podcast diving into the nitty gritty of social media and YouYube as a means to create an income. I have an incredible amount of respect for you both and your knowledge in that realm, and I think you could deliver meaningful information in a way that few others have been able to do.

I'm probably your parents' age and live part time on the road while hubby pursues more international adventures. Regardless, I learn a lot from Linnea's channel as a female "van-lover" and freedom seeker. I did not know much about Chris (but found out I've been a subscriber to his Tiny Home Tours channel) and really enjoy your conversation together. You both are solid, professional people and I like that your conversation is focused, not just directionless ramblings. I look forward more of these podcasts! Thanks

I believe the reason “people” say they will only make 800 dollars. Because we are so accustomed to bills that exceed 800 dollars (including rent)! We also need to keep an open mind about the infinite possibilities of multiple sources of income. Which includes, using our creative gifts to inspire. Such as yourselves. Much gratitude for the discussion. Expands my mind as I am the nomadic lady. ❤

Yep, for sure. $800 as a supplemental income could help a ton. You certainly can't live on that, but it's a great start.

I noticed working remote people are generally nice aside from social media which is a circus or rude comments. In a work situation no one wants to put crap talk in writing. So illusion is, I work with a bunch of nice people 😂 best remote work thing is no commute time (you don’t get paid to commute) you choose your work space & environmental conditions, and what clothes you put on each day.. No cube farm in a room with no windows for 8 hours. You wanna work outside? No problem. Wanna wear pajamas all day? No problem lol. I don’t miss workspace back stabbing.
@Jojok1039 ай бұрын
I work remote but there are massive amounts of people applying and AI screening your resume, you are lucky to get a call at all. After covid so many people realized that they were comfortable and happy why forced to work at home. And then the great resignation happened. Some jobs had over 1000 applicants. I got lucky but it took a long time to get it. If you will take a major pay cut you would be likely to get something quicker.

Linnea, hearing you talk about your van build video makes me laugh because your channel taught me so much! I've wanted a camper van for so long and your channel is where I went for inspiration and, to an extent, instruction. What I learned was, even with no experience, I could do it. Perfection is not the goal. Living life on your own terms is. Now my husband and I have a sweet little van to carry us on our retirement adventures. Love keeping up with you and Chris via KZbin. Wishing you all many amazing adventures.

I appreciate the fact they don't discuss politics. It is a divisive topic that seems no matter how irrelevant it is to a post, someone has to insert it into the conversation. Like any other subject, it is the energy that one chooses to contribute to it that determines how it affects you. It seems if you're living this type of lifestyle, you've already taken steps to distance yourself from the negativity.
