Well now a no why there’s so many damaged skirts on jsb pellets dropping in buckets from height last tin I had 140 were damaged skirts due to dropping in the factory
@charlesoutdoors24242 күн бұрын
They are sorted way after that to make sure there not damaged. Thank the shipping companies between the factory overseas and your door.
@charlesoutdoors24242 күн бұрын
You just watched them sorting them before they go into the tin. You really think they are letting deformed or bent pellets through. I will admit it surprised me to see the height they were poured from the bucket in the video. If they were damaging pellets I'm pretty sure they wouldn't do it after going through all the trouble to make the most accurate pellets they can.

I’ve a yellow o ring that show at the end of the bolt when I slide it after cocking the gun . I had to fix a jam up and after doing so I encountered that issue with the o ring that I don’t know where it came from
@Monkeydad1969Ай бұрын
I don't know where that o-ring came from. Did you buy the rifle used? There's only the o-ring in the barrel for the bolt probe to seal against. Pull that yellow o-ring off. You do have an o-ring in the barrel at the lead in, right? The only other thing I can assume is that it was part of the magazine if the mag is aftermarket.

How much power FPE and FPS can you get out of the Benjamin Marauder .25 caliber using 26 gr pellets by just tuning without modifying any parts?
@Monkeydad19692 ай бұрын
That all depends on the tune. I know that sounds like a cop out, but it's hard to say because it depends on the tune. I haven't tuned with pellets that weight, but now I probably need to do some work.
@papote3852 ай бұрын
@@Monkeydad1969 Thanks for your insights! I currently have mine set to 840 FPS with 26gr FX Slugs, achieving 40.72 FPE, and it's performing with great accuracy. I was just considering whether it might be worthwhile to invest in the .25 Rifle Max Kit at $267.98. They don’t specify the additional power gains, so I’m curious if the investment could significantly improve performance. Any experience or recommendations on this upgrade?
@Monkeydad19692 ай бұрын
@@papote385 It seems to have quite a bit of punch with the 26gr, which are actually the JSB King 25.39gr. How much more power do you need and what will the rifle's purpose be?
@papote3852 ай бұрын
@@Monkeydad1969 Hi there! I chose this air rifle for hunting small game because it can reliably group 5 shots within 1 inch at 60 yards. My goal is to maintain around 30 FPE at that range for humane hunting. With my current power setting, I keep my shots within 60 yards, but I’m curious if there’s potential to extend that range to 100 yards effectively. Any insights?
@Monkeydad19692 ай бұрын
@@papote385of course. You just need to set out targets from say 50 to 100 yards and start shooting. Practice makes perfect. But you will lose your current tune to maintain good down range energy. You can shoot with your current settings, but you are going to want to bump it up just a bit.

@Monkeydad19693 ай бұрын
Yes you can. I don't have the parts list with me, but you need the Texan SS complete shroud and baffled end, the stripper that the baffled end screws onto (that also screws into the small aluminum ring that slides over the barrel at the muzzle, the small aluminum threaded ring and the 2 screws and spacers that secure those pieces to the front of the frame, and the coupler that secures to the frame. Also, your Condor needs to be the SS. If you have a standard Condor, then I believe the LSS shroud and aluminum in tube will work. I haven't tried that myself. I guess I need to do a part 2 to show the parts.

A 2 yr old video? I am surprised by how many damaged pellets come in a tin these days. I wash, clean and lightly oil my pellets and I’m finding an unacceptable number of JSB’s pellets to be sub standard. I wonder why? Obviously their Quality Control, isn’t what it should be.
@Monkeydad19695 ай бұрын
They are working on better ways to help cushion the pellets. You have to realize, their pellets are almost pure lead. Also, where are you getting your JSB pellets from? Not everyone ships them to insure minimal damage. Plus, the shipper may not take great care in handling your pellets.
