@@beladeak643 for a .5 Marauder it's a #2-010 (No.10 as I say in the vid). For a .177/.22 it's a 1.5mmx4mm. These are per Crosman/Benjamin on the EVP for the Marauders. If you have a good o-ring kit in SAE and Metric, you should be able to find those sizes.

Great video, no BS and straight to the point. Here is some info that might help those who need actual dimensions. A 2-010 O-ring (for a .25 cal.) measures: 1/4 (ID), 3/8 (OD), and 1/16 (Width). I don't know where that o-ring came from. Did you buy the rifle used? There's only the o-ring in the barrel for the bolt probe to seal against. Pull that yellow o-ring off. You do have an o-ring in the barrel at the lead in, right? The only other thing I can assume is that it was part of the magazine if the mag is aftermarket.

What caliber is this? I did not hear it mentioned. The net is great if you want all kinds of irrelevant answers for a question! I read that the .22 takes a #9? I really have no idea. So, just to add to my confusion. My Danco set of plumbing o-rings has a #10 listed as 11/16" OD x 1/2" ID and 3/32" wall. I see #2-009 listed other places at 11/32" OD x 7/32" ID width of 1/16". I'm guessing the Danco ring kit must use a different scale? The most frustrating part is that Benjamin sent me some, for free, and I lost them! Anyway, thanks for the help! My marauder was a great shooter until recently. It held 1/2" groups at 100 feet. Then it started shooting 2.5"+ size groups. The smith at Benji said the o-ring will tighten it back up.

How do you know that something is wrong with this oring
@niksutherland42804 ай бұрын
I think one example for me; I have the Armada. Every thousand shots or so something happens to where my internal suppressor noticeably stops being as effective. when it first happened I didn't know what had happened or how to fix it so I sent it in on warranty and them fixing or replacing my o-rings brought the gun volume back down to backyard friendly. That's what brings me to this video trying to figure out how to do it without having to send the gun to New York again
@danielcurtis14343 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much!!! I am a “mechanical idiot”. And I found your explanation and presentation to be perfect for those of us like myself. I am curious when you say “#10 O ring”, do you mean 10mm? My understanding is your reference is to an O ring 12mm outside diameter and 10mm internal diameter with 1mm thickness. Is that correct? I bough 50 on Amazon fit a few bucks I just want to confirm I got the correct item. In any case that O ring is a real “ Achilles heel”!!! I mean I had it blow out and it was hanging on the bolt itself. Unfortunately I didn’t notice this until I opened the bolt and the ring dropped to the plant life below. The new O ring seems to be working fine. I just wish they could come up with a permanent solution for the gas seal. Of course gas seal has been an issue with firearms as long as we’ve had gun powder!!!

I am so sorry to reply so late. So I'm replacing the o-ring for the .25 barrel. With Crosman it is part # 106-005 (#2-010), but in my Harbor Freight o-ring box it said #10. For general knowledge the .177 is part # 1763-058 (1.5mmx4mm), the .22 is part # 1761A023 (#2-009).
