The people that picked the Gibson would have picked anything with Gibson on the headstock. Just silly.

I just purchased an Eastman T59V. It's a great guitar, and the finish on it looks great. It has a slimmer neck than the 335 or 535.

Questions from the inserted descriptions: What does “boosted eq” mean? What mode is “V73”? Is that possible? Thanks!
@maplestreetguitars16 күн бұрын
V73 should have been H73, sorry for the typo! Boosted EQ meant that the EQ was boosted rather than cut, so all the EQ controls were set past noon.

I’m a beginner and I have the lt25 but I was thinking of switching to the boss katana because of the flexibility in their app/software and the accessibility to all the presets. I like to play acoustic, rnb, blues, clean, rock etc. Do you think it would be a good idea to make the switch?
@maplestreetguitars24 күн бұрын
That's a bit of a lateral move though the Katana certainly has the advantage when it comes to power and a different workflow that might work better for you!

Wow. I’m surprised! Thru my standard iPhone old fashioned plug in head phones, the D2H sounded warmer and more “round” on the high E string. I really figured the CJ would! Both exquisite, but I guess I’m used to what was the standard Collings trope of their dreadnoughts being much more High & Mid voiced, bordering on shrill if you weren’t careful. Mine is a fairly old one, built in May 1990. It’s opened up completely of course, and my playing has changed a lot in 34 years. Really wonderful eye (and ear!) opening video. Thanks.

I'm a Fender guy and was looking at a professional 2 telecaster ( sweet guitar) and then I found a G&L FULLERTON ASAT CLASSIC and the G&L is better built guitar than fender and it's on steroids ‼️ Both guitars are single coils Fender got too corporate

Eastman for the win here, but I have heard very nice 00015 Martins, this one lacked a bit in mid range charm.

I think the ebony fretboard on the Eastman improves the midrange , nice sounding for the price
@treetopher9342Ай бұрын
Something none of these videos will tell you, the Alvarez MD60 has a sharp fretboard angle. I own 3 Alvarez guitars and have had 2 MD60BGs so I’m not out to hate, but I play with my thumb a lot and the MD60 would make the center of my thumb pretty sore after a good session. First guitar that I’ve owned that did that.

The differences are very subtle....the gloss I think just slight puts a bit more shade to the sound...just a tiny bit softer sound, but again, it's a very subtle thing.

Hi there man, I'm very curious about the neck, what's the difference between AM Pro II and the Suhr in terms of neck playing, what neck is more comfortable and faster? Thanks!
@maplestreetguitarsАй бұрын
Hi Florin, I did this video a couple of years ago now so I'm afraid I don't remember the Suhr neck carve too well. If I remember correctly, the Suhr had a slimmer carve than the "Deep C" carve of the American Pro II. Just as important are the Stainless Steel frets on Suhrs which tend to have a slightly smoother, faster feel. Ultimately, I'd recommend playing them both if you can!

Without having read ALL the comments, I will note MSG's failure to mention the 3 piece back on the M-36...such as the D-35 has. That certainly accounts for the bassier tone without even checking the Santa Cuz's specs. My M-36 is a '95' and it has well opened up. And it has a very specific richness in this configuration.
