Asphalt needs to be at least 5 inches thick. Also marle should not be used in road construction.

Micheael Super No.Awesome, why you show no smart people in truck saying no good things? Just move on no show. Make life no good chec. Look self in mirror. Turn light on if can't see self they speak no good things of. People in truck no ever own truck. Cant ever. Just driving truck for someone else, no look like, make other people rich. No smart, thinking no good. Can't figure out.

That looks like 3 inches thick compressed Asphaltic Concrete layer which is very good, much better than the 1 1/2 inch thick layer Asphaltic concrete that I see on some finished pavements previously.

On a project like this where the contract was between the MAIN CONTRACTOR and the SUBCONTRACTOR, who determines the actual ASPHALT CONCRETE thickness required? Also, who makes sure the SUBCONTRACTOR apply the correct thickness?

Hey Michael, as a black man, there is no need to use your platform to promote black self-hate. There are a lot of contributing causes to what happened, which we may not all be privy to. However, I can emphatically say, it had nothing to do with the color of the people doing the work. Shame on you MSA!

We Jamaican people which most of us are black. Them take the money and used cheap and less material and then two weeks time we gone back to the same old. We fuck up against our country and is that the people them tired of, too many robbery. Every work the local contractor's them do them fuck it up as simple as it is

Michael, it's good that those vehicles are running on the newly paved road bro , it helps with the compression and binding. They wouldn't allow it if it was bad for the road . Look on roadworks all over the world and you'll see the same blud !

From this road was being g done by the local contractors i could see for myself that what they were doing was total rubbish some people don't want to hear the truth because it is black man doing it but with this kind of situation what they did was daylight Robert. What is a national disgrace to our country. Just let them see how incompetent we are as people in our own country. And in the first place if they did not give it to them it would be war in jamaica but God is there to exposed the wrong that people try to hide. Look at the old machine that the local contractors have compared to the type of machine that the Chinese use black man wanted money but don't want to invest in good tools to do their work😊

We are not building housing schemes which creates garrison constituencies which are fueling the crime and violence in country. This is a typical PNP person who wants to perpetuate poverty and want garrisons in our country. This is person is a disgrace as they don't want our country to be peaceful and free of violence. Shame shame on you as Jamaicans want homes where they can build on and leave as a legacy for there families and this is the strategy of Dr Holness for jamaicans to create generational wealth and not generation poverty with recreating schemes which are the incubator for crime and violence
