I tried dating your SKS following another methodology by adding the 2 digits date code of 14 from your rifle’s serial no.( assuming the rifle serial no. Is 7 to 8 digits) to 1955 = 1969 manufactured date. I am sure you already know this, /26\ means made in arsenal 296 and 五六式 means type 56 in Chinese.

Our heritage is about 5 years old, I think...other than screws working loose the gun has been flawless through several thousand rounds, normally running the nastiest, cheapest bulk ammo we can find...reliability has been excellent, accuracy a little spotty...we've only put a few hundred magnum rounds through the gun, but it was the selling point for us, as the Wrangler back then did not offer the cylinder, and we didn't want to shell out hundreds more for a single six, or similar firearm...the slow pace of load, shoot, unload, repeat, repeat, repeat is downright relaxing, and easy on the wallet...are there better guns out here, sure...but for the price these are hard to beat for just plinking, and plinking, and plinking some more...

Okay so mine is having a similar issue where if I'm not very deliberate and use a good bit of force behind the action then it tends to not cycle the next round into battery but even worse it seems there must be an alignment issue as many rounds end up with a curled lip on the brass casing where it meets the plastic about a 1/4in wide causing the round to no longer chamber! I have not yet watched this entire video so I am hoping that your fix might also improve the functioning of mine... 🤔🫤 I welcome any suggestions because at this point I've almost permanently retired the firearm and refuse to trust it in a home defense role thankfully I picked up a Savage 320 tactical with pistol grip and ghost ring sights thing runs flawlessly having eaten over 1k rounds but it certainly would be nice to have my RIA M5 fully functional 😏

since the G2s, Taurus has done a LOT to mop up the previous, legitimate QC issues they had. I had several of their mid to late 90s pistols and no issue,s but the 00s were not kind. To a lot of brands, in fairness. But as a person who prefers DA/SA I find the idea of the TH9c to be a viable option for appendix carry, where I just don't find striker fired pistols to be a great idea. This is on my short list along with the Beretta 80x. But also half the price of the Beretta. Also like the CZ P-07 NATO, but it's a bit chonkier.

I have a Ruger LC9 and a LC9s and love both of them. I got the LC9 about a year after it came out and I have about 4,000 rounds through it. Then when the LC9s came out I had to get one. My LC9s has a fudge over 3,000 rounds through it. I love Glock's but in my opinion Glock doesn't have a small single stack Pistol that I want to use in the place of my LC9 or LC9s. I also think the LC9s is one of, if not the best looking Micro 9mm Pistols out here, I do like how the Kar Micro 9's look but not good enough to change. Thanks for the review!

Geez. Looks like a great pistol, but the disassembly/reassembly looks like quite a chore. I don’t like Glock style takedown miniature buttons. I don’t like how everything just falls right out. I don’t like the apparent struggle to reassemble the thing. Those are the main things that keeps me from buying this gun, though I love the idea of the rotating barrel, hammer, decocker/safety.
