for sure Uli been influenced so much by Hendrix but in this song, it was mixed with a kinda Al Dimeola licks style, a little bit like M.Schenker made at times in songs like Mother Mary and more later in stuff of his solo career .....

I prefer the long sustains than a flurry of notes. It detracts what made the song. So great. It was restraint/attack etc. even greatness gets overshadowed by ego

Вообще то неплохо но в 3 части иногда не те ноты, что у Вивальди, вообще это интересно. Вот Почему Скорпионс считается Классикой рока! Потому что музыканты этой группы опирались прежде всего на классическую музыку, и только поэтому создавали такие шедевральные вещи)

Thanks for the post! People who cover this seem to always do the sweep picking at the end but for me its the effortless blending of the legato vibrato with the neo classical shed that sets Uli apart.

Ernie is a good friend, I grew up with his cousin bill Jr and I worked for his cousins plumbing company in the bay area. He is an amazing man, an awesome artist and marketing and branding innovator. I did wok for his mom and dad who are wonderful folks. I don't see him often, but he is such a fun guy to hangwith, and usually has me in stitches laughing. Cheers Ernie!

Exhibit A as to why I consider Uli Roth the best rock guitarist of all-time (exceeding Hendrix b/c he took those techniques and went further with them). Nobody I've heard even dares cover this song; and it would be great song to cover...... if someone could.
