Nearly all groceries and most auto parts will fit in a far smaller and lower buck daily than a Grand Cherokee, like a Geo Metro or Subaru Justy, since you have trucks to haul anything that won't fit in a Metro, there's no need for a Medium sized vehicle like a Grand Cherokee. Supplement big trucks with tiny cars.

Aside from the fact you're extremely talented, your commentary is what keeps me coming back. I'm just getting off the flu and I'm dying laugh/coughing at this. Friggin hilarious

That's all sick! Such a cool truck with the rear gin pole setup! I remember seeing bunches of trucks kind of like that around the back roads of northern NM growing up. Lots of deuce and a half derived trucks doing all sorts of odd work out there when I was young.
@randomCHELdad8 сағат бұрын
WW2 they used charcoal gasifiers for fuel, perhaps the mount on the back was for one of those?
@randomCHELdad8 сағат бұрын
Or wood burning, the heavy truck able to carry the fuel. Definitely looks like one of the trucks used for those conversions

I cringe when I see you do some things (especially safety related) and I think that's where "The Fun" comes in for you.. I'm in my late 50's, drove a lot of these things you work on and I can't stop watching your stuff...

Looks like a Coleman aircraft tug you have with the aftermarket or homebrew crane on it. I was in the Air Force from 76 to 95 and drove many of those being in a munitions field. 4 cylinder has with a manual trans that had an electric clutch button under the shift knob. Crab steeering was the best part of it. Sucked when they started replacing them with ones that had 6 cylinder and Allison automatics, they jerked us around every time they shifted.

So you come from a line of mechanical engineering hoarders east coast desert country 🤔. So are you original east coast hoarders or reverse of that.
