This boss has terrible resistances, Bane almost always lands on him too. Never even thought instant death would work on a boss

This is really cool! When I first played this game, I loved fighting all the bonus bosses except for Dullahan! I could not find a way to beat him except through summon-rushing, but I always felt that there had to be a better way. While I knew that djinn could always seal the Psynergy of a boss, I had no idea that Djinn Storm and Charon were considered Psynergy for him (or at least were a part of that attack pattern), so I never bothered implementing that strategy. Formina Sage (Fulminous Edge) still hits like a truck, but at least it can be managed. I have managed to beat him by playing strategically and perhaps being a bit lucky, but I had no idea you could save yourself such a headache by forcing his attack pattern like this! Great work! (By the way, love the way you preface this fight in the description. You really set the stage for the fight very well)!

Word of advice for this boss: *DO NOT* LET HIM SUMMON COATICLUE.

I didn’t think he was so tough for a final boss though I did rewind the game a bit so he didn’t use the healing summon.

I hated how this thing could mess with your Djinn, not to mention how the Wise One fuses Isaac and Jenna's parents into the Doom Dragon while vanishing like a coward; I'm a little disappointed that the Wise One wasnot the final boss

Karst and Agatio are just like Saturos and Menardi, Daddy and karen.

Granite, high impact x2, forge Attack, attack, attack, pure wish Or Spamming multitarget psynergy with good elemental power gears like big bang glove etc., so you destroy all the balls and then you can hit him and destroy his new balls when they born. You need to heal of course if you take too much damage from his attacks, so you let live only earth balls while healing Also Rushing summons while using granite or other shield-damage djinn, of course rushing summ. after killing the earth balls. 1 good summon could be moloch, so you slow down his speed.

I really appreciated the arena in Golden Sun 2. It made going after the endgame summons worth it, as there would be more occasions to use them against hard as nails rematches!

I've played this game a whole bunch of times and I never knew about this strategy, but then again I was a kid and didn't know about strategies to beat bosses lol. All I did against Dullahan was a Djinn Summon onslaught and had Mia as my healer while I had Felix and Issac attack and had Ivan doing both damage and power ups.

Just beat him after an hour and a half. I winged it second try with a terrible strat of leaving 3 guard balls and a thunder ball, and just kept wailing at him with the occasional turns the balls all missed. Lvl 29 to 31 party. This was the first and only time I died in this game, pretty easy up to him

So i remembered this strategy and I tried it earlier today... It was going well for a while then he somehow killed Ivan, and broke free of the seals... Man... Even if you cheese him, this SOB finds a way to beat the crap out of you
