Golden Sun: The Lost Age - Valukar (Optional) Boss Battle

Who ever knew that a boss is hiding beneath Yampi Desert? Of course, it guards a very important summon tablet. Deep within Yampi Desert lies a cave which is only accessible when the party obtains the Teleport psynergy. Yampi Desert Cave is well hidden, and I must give a thumbs up to Camelot. Anyways, Felix and his party arrived at the center of the cave. They were about to encounter one of the "Super bosses" of the entire Golden Sun series. Valukar, the guardian of the Daedalus summon tablet, welcomed their presence. Let the long battle of strength begin!
Note: My party was about level 45 when they arrived at this point. During this time, I've decided to hunt for some Mythril Silver along the way, so some grinding and training were done before the boss battle.

This battle always seems so bizarre to me. To do well (unlike how you did here) you really have to think about Djinn and summoning in a rather different way from any other battle.

I didn’t think he was so tough for a final boss though I did rewind the game a bit so he didn’t use the healing summon.

This one was the easiest of the four optional bosses.

This boss seems to be the casual one of the Super bosses in the series. I had fun, but at the same time, the boss battle could've ended sooner than expected. The equipments that I have during this battle were somewhat lack of power and efficiency. I had troubles getting the best unleash and attack rates; therefore, I admit that this boss is considered strong if not rather too impulsive for me to handle, lol.

lol, I never had a problem with one. Valukar did all the work for me. His reward was getting pounded :D

Lol. I actually did better when I didn't recorded, and I ended the battle at 6 minutes, but of course, I missed my opportunity of recording that one instead.

you DID know valukar can use your summons against you, right?? u_u man, your party was faster... you could summon ulysses, flora, moloch, cybele, megaera, megaera again and ramses before he could
