very interesting, how do you charge the battery?
@bytesizedengineering4 күн бұрын
@@yes..3452 That's the primary function of the BMS. You supply it 48V or whatever size battery you create, and it distributes and balances the charge for each cell.

Id like to have one just because. I find machines that just run for long periods of time fascinating. That's probably why i enjoy rebuilding antique wind up clocks. You turn them on and they run. Every time you walk in the room its running and for some reason I am fascinated by this.

Why not put a piece of aluminum in between the WiFi board and servo to stop interference? That way it could stay on one side

You could also actuate the linear gate with a servo, just with a link from the tip of a servo horn down to the gate.

i think a butterfly valve would work for what you’re doing, might be a problem if you want the whole intake area to be clear, though. all you’d need is a 90° rotation and no need for any parts other than the circle cover itself

I love how you also included the long tedious trial and error and iterative process of engineering. That’s something that usually gets overlooked (I’m guilty of that as well), we usually jump directly to the final working project. All the 100s of failed iterations are left out. These were a great thorough set of videos ❤❤❤And even I as a 32 year veteran still learned new things! ❤

I did something similair, but used aluminum flashing to make my own channels for the lights. I built a cheap bender out of some lumber and angle iron, then made a guide for continuous drilling using dowels. Cnc just felt like overcomplicating a very simple task and mine is only a 4x4 bed.

Get a length of elastic from Joann’s. Then mark out 50 equidistante marks. You stretch it from one end to the other of the pipe. Then they will be equaldistanst along the length of the PVC.
