If you max out your suit temp then it doesn't have to cool as much. Similar goes for minimising your suit pressure, the source is 100% O2, so it doesn't need to be 100kpa. If you can spare the Cu and Au, getting simple solar tracking will "fix" power issues early too, keep up the good work :)

NOX mix for fuel is close to 1:1 as opposed to the Volatiles 2:1, so one cobalt and one silver should degas into a near ideal fuel mix.

I know it's been a while since you posted this video but wanted to comment on this as I see a lot of people doing way to complicated things for the lights. Regarding the daylight sensor, when you look at it you see Grid Sunlight false or true which can be read with Activate. That way you can have the growlight on during day and off during night. Same thing, you can invert it and use to turn on lights outside base during night. Just make sure that there's nothing blocking the sun from hitting the sensor. That will be good enough for most plants. If you want a proper timer instead and really get the exact times, use the stop watch from the music things.

I curious with the solar panels: You tried almost everything you could think of with the SOFTWARE (IC code) but not even once tried to do something with the HARDWARE, why? (rotate the panels, rotate the solar sensor). You said "I do not understand but someone will tell me, and l'll forget" so I'm not going to try to explain the thing with what vacuum does. All I'm gonna say is, Its all in the Stationpedia. Yeah one more thing... Pressure.... No pressure... nothing. As soon there is pressure... things starts to happen.

There are 3 ways to transfer energy, like heat. Convection, conduction, and radiation. The first two need a medium to work. Like air or water. So they don't work in a vacuum. Think of your radiator at home. Hot water conducts heat, via the metal radiator, to the air directly around the radiator. The air cunvects the hot air around the room. The third one, radiation, doesn't need anything. Think of a terrace heater. It works by radiating infrared radiation. A perfect vacuum is simply the absence of mater. Radiation is not mater. 1:29:44. You are somewhat correct. Yes, given enough time, everything will radiare all of its heat to 0K. However 0K isn't 0C. 0C is 273.15K.

in vacuum you can almost reach 0K, only the sun would heat you or your machines up. Thats why the elektrolyzer will keep getting colder and colder. The devs have set vacuum temps to certain degrees to stop exploits like : on the hot plante you can vacuum a room and radiate heat into it, this heat is simply lost and wont heat the room since its a total vacuum. They did raise the temp you can reach since it would be insanely easy to cool vukan bases otherwise..

I understand it may feel slow, but slowly going thru the game, learning on the go and sharing that experience step by step is the value you provide. About game play, do not worry about comments telling you did something wrong or missed something. Some people are playing this game for many years t the point they optimized all the fun out of the game play. They learned locations from external maps and developed habits they believe is right way to play. Keep doing it your own way. Finally tips and ideas section: - there is stronger wood that can resit tier 5 storms and still looks like standard wood. It will need a lot of bees wax, so you may start thinking about it - to be able to clip crop plots on foundation, you first need to put floor piece on it - when working thru tech tree, notice some items (like scoria building parts) have this extra white icon. Those indicate tech from expansions (Styx or Prometheus). Technically you can still research it but there will be no way to use it on Olympus. - since you have base already walled, if you like more lively base, you can set horse (or any other animal you will get) to wander. They do not get hurt by storms and should not hurt them self on spikes that way. Draw back is you will have to look around for them when you need them - speaking of animals behavior, defensive makes them fight when you get attacked, while aggressive will make them attack whatever will show up close to them. No, you are not stupid, just oblivious to your surroundings. caves do take a little practice to see as there are a number of variations but I have found that there are a few tips you can use to finding them. Take a good slow look at your overall map, you will notice that along the cliff walls (both the main cliffs and secondary cliffs) you will see a number of cul de sacs that are larger than most others, look into those first, if there is not a cave in them then it is highly likely that there is one close by. the best indicator that a cave is close by is that in front of nearly every cave is a flat platform before the entrance whether the cave is open or covered by stone. when searching for caves, dont fast run your horse, let it walk and keep a close eye on the cliff face closest to you, I have noticed you do have a tendancy to keep looking all around you and not watching the cliff, hence you miss some of the hidden cave entrances by looking away at the wrong time. For your animal talents, they are at first the same as your own, STAMINA followed by SPEED and then HEALTH, fourth should be CARRYING CAPACITY for added inventry slots. good luck and keep up the good work, you are working it all out like a pro.

For weather, you can send a signal to either a hard suit, advanced tablet or laptop to tell ya if a storm is coming via SoundAlert logic. (for weather i would NOT send it to the hardsuit!) you can do this with any other warning/alert you think you would need to know that would require your immediate attention, like an over pressure event. the greenhouse atmo has a problem, etc. The other advantage of this is you will hear it no matter where you are, logic xmitters have unlimited range. To explain the stress on the combustion centrifuge, the unit wants to have the speed change slowly. You want to aim for it gaining or losing about 1 to 2 RPM per Second. If you gain or lose RPM at a faster rate than that, it will accumulate stress. Depending on the pressure and heat you have already built up inside the unit, you could turn the throttle right down to 10% and still be gaining speed for a bit. This allows you to flip the throttle up and down to keep the speed gain consistent. The combustion lever controls how much fuel you burn (to create heat and pressure) in the unit for each tick of throttle (how much fuel you're pumping in). If you can't even flip the Throttle up to 10% without the unit gaining stress immediately, you probably have the combustion lever too high, but a low combustion lever means your unit exhaust will contain a large amount of un-burnt VOL and OXY which will just burn up in the exhaust pipe and create wasted heat. There is also a built in brake system where if you leave the Throttle at 0% for a few seconds it will begin losing speed very quickly (about 15 RPM per second).

Using the logic transmitter, and the heavy suits, you can send the sounds codes directly to your suits speakers...

The combustion centrifuge does get hot unless they changed it in a recent patch. Centrifuges are real and a very simple explaination is that they use centripetal force to separate things of different mass/weight. The heavier stuff pushes past the lighter stuff to pile up against the wall of the drum, so you end up with rings/layers of seperate stuff all separated. The wall edges are finiky, so when you find it wont place try rotating in 180° (up down) and then rotating it to match the edge you want. Sometimes it works. The wall edges seem to act like magnets with poles at either end making their side by side placement work in only one hard to decipher orientation.

a little tip on the main screen of the stationpedia there is a button that says gases that literally has every gas in a list so you don't need to remember the names and search for them. The same thing for ores and ingots.
