The portable connector that you have the liquid oxygen tank on has a gas output that you used before and noted that it equalized with the gas only portion in the tank. If you hook up normal pipe to that again with a volume pump to push the gas into the gas tank, you should be able to pull all of the gas out of the liquid portable fast enough to keep up with expansion as you heat the pipe up with the furnace heat exchanger. You could also use the furnace heat to warm up your gaseous oxygen tank to stop it from liquefying, so ideally you would want 2 heat exchangers connected together to the furnace, 1 on either side of the volume pump.

Hey, Thanks for this. I'll give it a a go.

Setting up an ice crusher to sort the ices you've mined into gas tanks may have been the quicker short-term solution. 2:14:00 Pressure regulators are going to be too slow for your needs... unfortunately, its turbo pumps, analyzers, and a housing. And IIRC the pressure fed doesn't take premixed fuel, so its two pumps, two analyzers, two "tanks" one for O2 and Volatiles. Running your rocket batteries in series may result in the single wire connecting the two getting burned out... you may be better off with a parallel setup and a nub of heavy cable between the battery pair and the transformer. ( though I don't know that you need a transformer as I don't thing you can ever put enough stuff in a rocket to draw enough juice to burn a regular cable).

Hmmm I'll have to check back. I thought it did take premixed fuel but I'm probably wrong as I usually am. Yeah a few people have mentioned the cable / battery setup in the rocket so I'll sort that. Thank you.

I just put a heater on the gas pipe to warm up the liquids faster to heat gas side than liquid side.. Already launched 3 rocket trips

You have built convection radiators which don't work without an atmosphere. You can build them as radiation radiators but they will only cool (as a vacuum has no heat to exchange) which isn't what you want. Honestly the engine isn't that expensive, the tanks are but your not short on resources and you can just put everything through the recycler to get half the resources back. You have spent more trying to heat the liquid up, it was a nice idea but realistically just rebuilding the rocket is faster and probably significantly cheaper. Also if you put your solar panels on their side (and the daylight sensor) you can get 100% uptime from them as the solar angle is above 0. I'll check the side next time I play, think it's the North. Also also the cables the battery side of your transformer in the rocket need to be heavy or they will burn as the batteries charge. Did you find any silver on your asteroids?

Hey, Thanks for the tips. I'm just a little worried about the resource usage after last time. Although I am probably using more resources to do this. Nope, I think I managed to mine a bit of every ore except Silver.

@PanicAndDieGaming You need silver for the trading motherboard sadly. As for the resources, it's something I do all the time. I think I have a more resource efficient way of doing something and then I use loads more in the long run when I look back on it

Chewey, you have the wrong engine! You want the pumped gas engine not press fed. Press fed is like a Lamborghini, it’s really fast but sucks a lot of gas! Pumped gas has an efficiency of 160%, press fed is 95% and you don’t have the excess fuel to spare.

@@PanicAndDieGaming the other good thing is you won’t need press regs or any form of automation. Just fill with pre mixed fuel and go

Wrong radiators :-)

Yep :D
