If your having problems with the SUs, then you don't know how to set them up.

you know you could of used the starter to prime? this is a way over reaction to priming your engine.

I had a mint 260, and wish I still had it. Air dam, rear aluminum louvres (Z owners know about heat). Alas I parted ways with it Pre 1982. 😢 The 260 had mid build and later build year bumpers. Mine had the 240 style bumpers and not the design killing bigger ones.

I have a serious bug to get a 240z or Zx. If you don't mind saying, not counting the cost of the vehicle what's the ballpark cost of restoration so far?

GAPS.. on cars he could review but chooses not to... great video, i subbed.. i got a 280z about a month ago.. converting it to round top hitachis... already bought everything.. you have a very clean one and all S30s that run in 2022 are 100 out of 100

Note: ck your needles bro. They seem to be knicked and scratched. This will effect the performance of your carbs and engine. More so than one would imagine.

#1. AMP gauge is screaming HELLOOO. #2. Carb piston ck done with the dampner unscrewed is pointless. #3. Float levels is the first place to start on carbs. #4. Book smart techz are the worst mechanicz im the field. #5 Get a balance tube that has a PCV before you blow your motor. #6 Your oil filter is not working due to high suction with no blow by crankcase. #7 Look up #6 lol good luck. #8 Love your song LEAH tommy tutone

i have a question. i just cant figure it out and im trying to learn enough about 240z's so that when i get one i wont be overwhelmed. i have the engine bay pretty figured out thanks to your videos, but i cant figure out what the name of those tubes are, and what they do? (the ones that where 180 degrees off)

Did you block off the PCV Valve on the balance tube?

is it possible to put he worm gear back in without removing the oil pump? do you put any rtv or anything on your gaskets?

Simple mod to great effect. I love watching these Z build videos. Keep 'em coming! As far as the prototype Z goes, I"m just not impressed. If they really want to bring back the look of the original Z car, stop making it look like all the other new cars coming out! Dear Nissan: Ditch Renault and start making quality again, bring back the inline-six, remove that stupid Nissan emblem from the hood and put back the damn Z badge that all the great Z's used to have. There. I said it.

Good video. Just felt I had to comment on the lack of oil while rebuilding. The spring washers and valve stems. Also using polishing wax without a vapour clean too. Keep up the great work.
