I once heard someone say that manifestation can be a bit like the whole Monkey's Paw analogy - you can get what you want, but be careful because it won't manifest in the way you expected. I can vouch for that, because a while ago I was egotistically pursuing a musical career, continually manifesting the mantra "I am an excellent singer songwriter". Well guess what, after a few months of manifestation, my wife out of the blue told me that she wasn't sure if she wanted to be married to me any more. We're taking steps to work through the underlying causes of that, but I can tell you that the heartache this has caused/is causing is actually producing some of the best songs I've ever written. My emotions are so deep and raw and so are the songs. So, a terribly subjective story there - but I got what I asked for. My songwriting has improved, but the experience is absolutely crushing me and this is not what I wanted at all. ...I agree with Ben - manifestation isn't the way forward!

Thank you Ben. You are spot on! I was one who did the whole accumulation trip, experience, things, you name it. Then I had an Earth shaking experience where I saw all of it was absolutely nothing and empty. At the time it was a Super Dark Night of the Soul. Painful was a mild description. My life now has gone 180 and I am living from the Great Silence. My spiritual experiences are rich in Oneness. Everyday I am thankful for the Grace that intercepted my folly. ❤🤩

Thanks Ben, great video. It's interesting that the deeper we go on the spiritual route, the more these innate "cravings" for manifesting "things" start to evolve. Initially, we might desire money, worldly love, and success, but that desire will ultimately convert to wanting more knowing/experiences of the divine. Even if that requires periods of pain, trials, and various states of deprivation. The "rewards" change, and oftentimes, it is only visible to you on the path.

Thank you for clarifying this. I have been struggling with that very aspect and conflicted over the incongruent relationship between manifesting my human perceived desires and the need to let go and trust in the divines plan. This nails it for me. Look higher is the message. Let go and trust.

There is nothing wrong with practicing manifestation because we do it daily without realizing. It is the conscious intent that is important. Manifest whatever you like but also ask for it to benefit your life plan, your journey to become who you intend to be. Ask for it to manifest - if appropriate.

@ yes that makes sense on paper but can get muddy in practice. I realize we are here to play and learn ( for most humans) however if your deeply called to a higher purpose I believe it would be a clean break to forgo “manifesting stuff” for a time until your path is clearer… if that makes sense. But I agree and acknowledge I have been subconsciously manifesting, as we all do l, my whole life. It’s not new. Just newer packaging. I’m currently working on law of attraction through vibration and focus. But allowing the divine to work out the details.

Eventhough I had an intense spiritual Experience when I was 17 years old, life led me somehow to spend too much energy on the manifested world. Spot on. I have been lucky in life and been give manual skills which led me to build my own house which turned a lot larger than originally planed however luck continued for me being financially stable and have everything that I want including several classic cars. However having been on the conscious path now for in excess of 15 years I feel that ownership is not enough to the point that I the pleasure from a new purchase is very short lived and I seek that piece that comes from awakening.

This has been my story. Started with subconscious programming and manifesting through teachings from Dr Murphy and others. I believe those teachings are critical to our development but as we grow and expand I can't find the materialistic desires within anymore. I'm grateful for where I am and how God has guided me. I’ve had some challenges with this, I went a long time thinking that wanting to manifest more money into my life “wasn’t spiritual”, it plays into the ego. But I’ve since come to a realisation that it’s not about wanting more things on the manifesting journey, it’s about realising that you are Infinite Abundance, therefore I am Infinitely Abundant. I don’t “want” more abundance, I am already abundance. You can manifest a life that is more in line with the Highest Self, and that doesn’t have to mean that it’s the ego doing that. Manifesting financial wealth into your life can actually give you more freedom to express the Heart’s desire and the Highest Self, and give back and serve others. One persons journey might be to manifest an abundance of money to aid them on their path, where another’s might be to live their life with modest wealth…each are going to the same place ultimately

I have been searching for a mindset to not have money be stressful whilst living in a world where I need it to eat and fix a hole in my roof. Thank you for this video. Please, if you can touch on what you said you would get back to and forgive me if you did and I missed it... What about if you are struggling with real material issues and trying to manifest resolutions. I feel I can manifest till the cows come home with no resolution. For example, I literally have a hole in my roof from a raccoon that I have not been able to fix for two years. I am disabled and submitted for assistance to a charity place to fix my roof. I understand that things happen for a reason and that is what I hold onto for my sanity... but it is exhausting.

I love his teachings so much. And all he preaches is this that you are saying. It is true that we are creators but that stills involves ego and so much suffering. I want to say something -- there are two core ways of manifesting anything. One-- comes from the ego who needs and needs and chases and yearns for more but never get satisfied. Two-- from a place of inner deeper fulfillment where we don't need necessarily anything to identify with or to have any sort of gratification or fulfillment as that essence is already so perfectly whole at any given moment...that is the empowered creative process. Some people when they get to know about manifestation they use it to manifest so many different things and when they manage to manifest things but only to realise these are not any of those things that can fulfill them ..then they awaken to the deeper truth of who they are or they get trapped into blame game of life is evil... On the other hand some people use the mind as a tool to create simply for the enjoyment of it not for any external identity...these are the people who have a high pull towards creation not for material possessions... And some people do like more to be as they are; resting peacefully in their essence without much inkling towards outward movement... So who is right ? And who is wrong ? Nobody... It's about realising what we as an individual want ...whether we want to create or to just be ... There is no wrong in any one of this ❤ The key is : there is something beyond "karma" that can come into your life at any point between the wheel of karma and rebirth and that something is never really get darkened by anything neither can be enlightened...that is just as it is always present ...eternal ..neither born so neither is gonna die 😊

This is a divine dichotomy. We choose to get to physicality in order to experience and know contrast, because we were everything already in the absolute realm. And while in physicality, we chose to get back to the absolute to become once again one with the divine, the all. I don't think it's bad either way, it's part of the process. Balance is the way. Like balance of all your chakras. To be wholly, whole-holy... One can become a saint when using all of his energy centers that he developed, from lower to upper. I don't believe in the renunciation path. I believe in the equilibrium path.

Manifesting is also self fulfilling; You can say, well its not that i can't manifest the thing I do not have yet but want, its that i did manifest myself wanting but not having it. There either way i manifested; You should just sit back and accept happily every thing you gain or lose because you wanted it subconsciously or higher up or lower down or sarcastically

What people don't understand that manifestation also comes at a price. You are depleting your karmic bank balance by manifesting and unless you are constantly replenishing your karmic balance by doing more good karma and understanding the true nature of reality, it can lead you to trouble in the future

But basically what causes twitching when you meditate? And why do we feel energy in certain parts of our body? For example I kept feeling energy at my feet and hands. And often I twitch a lot during meditation sometimes it scares me n ruins the concentration

I don’t want more material things beyond what is basic and necessary to function but I am part of a group who are trying to start a non profit and we are struggling to find land and benefactors/investors. We have suggested we try manifestation techniques to aid in this but I wonder if giving it to the divine isn’t better? Some would say speaking an intention and then giving it to the divine with no expectations is also manifesting. Semantics?

Funny enough on my own journey ive had this intuition to dismiss manifestation. Maybe abit of it was seeing "new age" people talk about how easy it is to do. Personally it just feels so surface level to want to manifest physical materialistic objects, I feel it in my soul to dig much deeper to God/source/logos.

I always thought: the point of enlightenment/spirituality/etc is to be okay with everything, to accept all reality, good and bad, and be at peace with everything. So then wouldn't manifestation be hypocritical/counter productive? But then doesn't "not manifesting bc enlightenment > material" also go against accepting everything..?? idkkkk... feels like everything ends up in a dead end like this... accept all reality, but why? It wasn’t what I was looking for but led me to my next step, finding music that helped my meditation practice. I would even go so far as to say that manifestation is an inherently egoic pursuit, because it's about living for something in the future. It's my understanding that the true self only exists in the now. Right now is the only point in time that exists and matters. And since the true self is also said to be the actual source of all inspiration, the ideas that the ego is capable of coming up with are relatively very shallow and rudimentary. You can only manifest to the limit of the ego's very limited imagination. If we were to ask the true self what we should manifest, I am told that it would probably say "Nothing." Because there is no need for you to ever do anything at all.

I don't think surrendering, or giving your power away is the answer. That is slavery. Human beings are free sovereign souls, and there no power in the universe that can do anything about that. We have complete free will which is the Divine's greatest gift. It should be used with inner wisdom and proper consciousness, but certainly not given away. It's like Star Wars Jedi's, who use the Force to do good. They tap into this Force, and use it to maintain the balance of nature. That makes sense. Basically it's a collaboration between human beings and the Divine. The Force still guides the Jedi, but the Jedi has full free will and can decide what to do with this Force.

At some point we have to. Not everyone is ready to depart yet and that’s okay. It’s not that it’s ‘wrong’ as such, but if you want the truth, you will need to let go. It depends what you want; this world or God - the choice is yours 🙏

Determining truth or lie from cyclical reference is dubious at best. I am not saying it is not possible because all of this is esoteric. How much of the spirituality rules that people adopt are manifestations of those rules themselves? Are they even real or just invented? Maybe they are true but what if they are just like any other a manifestation, someone's preferences and attempts at understanding spilling over. If Jesus was able to turn water into wine and walk on water. Was he just like us or special, so not for the plebs? I remember eating with uncle and cousin years ago. I was adding cheese and two kinds of cold cuts on it and cucumbers and such. They looked at me and asked how I put everything on it that they had gotten used to putting one or two, since they are from earlier generation to me apparently. I said, what is the point of them being offered if I never get to eat it. And I ate. Why manifesting is considered so that I am being offered carrots and potatoes but then people say, just eat potatoes when I also want the carrot. What's the point then? I can accept if someone is able to explain why and how to do it but without some understanding I don't understand why I should go to work, pay my bills or anything then at all. The only reason that I can figure out is that manifestation is truly powerful, we do have real free will, and if we choose to be miserable we can because it is that free. So the only real advice is caution how to proceed because the system is only protecting you as far as it can until you go through the grinder of your choosing; Let it be a toy.

How you reconciliate this video with the idea of everyone is god? I think you have some ideas that are not connected with this. The idea of reincarnation and karma you have looks a little bit limited to ego. Karma is universal. The karma you acquire from other lifes is the way the world is because of society and past events... Not from your past lives, but from all lives that had happened before you have born, because all lives that have happened are, actually, you. 😅
