Thank you so much - and I'm so glad you're still enjoying the videos! ❤ Yes, I've had a lot of creative joy in the last year and feel very lucky - but I'll never say "never" when it comes to making new ASMR videos. I had so many topic ideas that I never got around to making, so one of these days, I would like to get back to it 🙂

Dear crystal waters - thank you for your feedback. The whispering is rather the point - because this is an ASMR video. ASMR isn’t for everyone and if it’s not for you, then I suggest you refrain from watching videos that have ‘ASMR’ written in capital letters at the very beginning of the title.

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! ❤ I haven't made any new videos in a while, but there will hopefully be a few new ones on the horizon this year - and meanwhile, I hope you enjoy working through the archive! If you're particularly interested in fashion, you might enjoy the videos on corsets, boudoirs, dressing tables, Mary Poppins and 'a doll's house and a dress shop' 🙂

This is interesting! I'm writing a story about a girl in a magic world who is going to be staying at a palace and you're giving me some really good ideas. Particularly about how big a room would need to be if one of the magical inhabitants happens to have a 35 ft wingspan so now I have a little bit more of an idea. The irony being of course that she's lived a kind of a rough life out in the magic world and she's not really accustomed to being on such a nice place since she was a few years younger and her best friend is living as a prince now. But I devour anything that gives me inspiration and the ministry galleries give me the idea of where they would have their music. Obviously when the magic birds -Griffin's and the like- go to the all brother going to send in fancy nest box and the queen is going to have the best of it all. Lol isnt imaginations great I really like your read through and descriptions thank you

Stunning Tour ……beautifully introduced …..I have never seen all the rooms of CH until now …..what an absolute shame that George IV had this house demolished …….it really could have stood the test of time as a great British national treasure…..for anyone watching , it is worth noting that most of these lavish furnishings still exist and are now on display in Buckingham Palace

@SoundsCurious
@SoundsCurious 10 ай бұрын
Hello! The Battle of Bosworth - though fascinating - isn't a topic I would cover on my ASMR channel, because (like all battles) it was such a bloody and violent conflict - and I feel a 'virtual tour' of such an event wouldn't be conducive to relaxation and a calm night's sleep! But thank you for the suggestion - I really appreciate it! Please feel free to suggest further historical topics - and meanwhile, if you haven't heard it already, @TheFrenchWhispererASMR has made an excellent talk about The Wars of the Roses. Can you even imagine being the sole owner of an Estate like this? "Yeah, this is my house" mind blowing.
@SoundsCurious
@SoundsCurious 10 ай бұрын
When I was younger, I worked in a couple of different stately homes as a tour guide. In both cases, the owners had inherited the property and took it completely for granted - which always both amazed and saddened me, because they had no inkling of just how privileged they were to be constantly surrounded by so much beauty and history. But I suppose context is everything - they had no idea what life was like in any other circumstances, so for them, living in these exquisite places was 'normal'.

Aw, I'm so sorry - I meant to make some new videos this year, but the spring was taken up with theatre/audio gigs, the summer has been taken up with recovering from surgery (I'm fine now!) - and I have another two gigs scheduled for this autumn and winter, so I don't know if I'll be able to get any videos made, after all. It is my intention to release a couple of new one every year, though... I'm just sorry I haven't been able to, recently. In the meanwhile - if you enjoy Early Modern literature, here's a link to the first episode of me narrating 'The Merry Jests of George Peele', which is a series of Tudor short stories. It's not ASMR, I'm afraid, but hopefully better than nothing 🙂 audioboom.com/posts/8204458-the-jests-of-george-peele-episode-1

I am sorry you "can't stand" my voice, Rebecca. However, this is an ASMR video - the clue is right there, in both the title and in the description below the video - so the "weird whispering" is rather the point. To save yourself from further distress, I would suggest you go and look at other KZbin channels - and worry yourself no more about this one.

How can we not continue to subscribe when your videos are unique? Your ASMR voice is superb and I loved learning about the history of the Nutcracker, Santa Claus, jigsaw puzzles, goth, Dior, the bird museum, etc -- I listen to them again and again. I'll admit I prefer your education videos (which only you do) vs the generic relaxation walk in this video (which many people do, and I was looking for something different). And the house tours aren't as much my thing as the topics. You mentioned in the "Relaxed Chat" video that it takes a lot of time to research, write, and edit an educational video, and lately you haven't had time. I wonder if you could do some with less research, less polishing, so that it wouldn't take as much of your time but we could still get some videos. Maybe talk about things you already know or are interested in, in either your regular voice or your narration voice or both. I appreciate you letting us hear your other audio works too. I listened the River Thames one last night, although I only heard the first part before I went to sleep so I'll have to listen to it again. And then Mixcloud played a "Santa is not my Santa", which my awakening state assumed was an ad and that the Thames story would continue after it, but instead it went to another bad Christmas song and I realized the Thames story was finished and it was queuing up other people's videos, so I stopped that. I'm American so I'm not familiar with ResonanceFM or Mixcloud. I haven't watched Deepfakes yet but I will when I find time to sit in front of the computer and watch. I don't know how much I'll understand it if it's British politics. I've also listened to some of the Beyond Shakespeare First Looks, although I've never been able to find the episodes you're in. Which ones are they?
@SoundsCurious
@SoundsCurious Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your support! I'm guessing I won't be in many of the recently-released First Look videos, because they're released a few months after being recorded - and earlier this year, I was busy directing a theatre production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and so didn't have time to participate in many Zoom sessions. However, one thing I did do for Beyond Shakespeare earlier this year was record an audiobook of 'The Merry Conceited Jests of George Peele' - it's being released in monthly installments on the Beyond Shakespeare podcast and the first part is here, if you're interested!... audioboom.com/posts/8204458-the-jests-of-george-peele-episode-1
