I'm picking up my first motorbike in a couple of days (Suzuki GSX R125) and i'm getting the shakes just thinking about it 😅 It's not riding it i'm worried about, it's trying to blend in with traffic and not wanting to cause others on the road any problems that i'm worried about. 😬🫡 ...and my Life 😆

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I enjoyed this GREATLY!! This was so pure!! For someone who... at the time... had only taken the two-day course and hadn't touched a motorcycle for six whole months... I thought you did a PHENOMENAL job executing your first ride home. 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you for sharing your first experiences with us. Because you haven't posted for several years now, I DO hope that riding is STILL a part of your life. 💙

I started on an 800, to be honest, I don't think I would recommend it. It wasn't the speed or power. It was the jump in the weight and overall size from the bikes they used at the msf. I'm getting the hang of it, but I feel like my learning curve has been slowed.

I'm going to be riding my first time in traffic sometime soon and am super nervous. Thanks for sharing, especially the start where the bike stalled. That's my biggest fear.

I just "love" the intro! FLMAO! You did great! It is so humbling going on that very first ride. New riders: If you don't have a truck, borrow one and bring your bike home that way. Then, practice locally where you know your way around town. Your just overloading yourself with to much information to start driving "and" to not know your way around town. Good job, WolfMan!

These videos are great because you get to kinda feel those feelings again. Makes me giddy and gives me a tiny bit of that adrenaline you get the first time riding when you are super unsure of everything you are doing like theres a gigantic spotlight on you.

Omg you've only done 2 days riding on the street on the MSF Motorcycle Safety Foundation training and they was 6 months ago. Ha ha. Great choice of bike. CBR 125 / CB 125, Solid, reliable, hold their value, lightweight which is so useful for beginners. Honda reliability too. And can do 60+ mph, enough for your first bike if people are honest. They are so lightweight that you can swerve away from danger much easier than on a heavy bike. And if you drop it they are way cheaper to fix than bigger bikes. Those CB125s have so many cheap parts for them from around the world too. Enjoy!
@Google_Does_Evil_Now4 ай бұрын
Did you really do the MSF? It's your comments about looking behind being weird, not wanting to use the front brake even though it's the most powerful on most bikes. And you're not doing shoulder looks, checking your indicators, a few things. You even drove off without mirrors being adjusted. Noobs, if you're reading this then just take your time before you start riding. Set the mirrors, check the controls and go through them all (brakes, clutch, gear selector, lights, indicators, etc) so you are familiar. Practice where they are a few times because once you're in traffic it will feel more relaxed and natural if you've practiced a bit. L plates. In Britain we ride with red L plates to let others know we are learning. It usually means they give you more space and know you're still learning. Trainers will also give you short lessons if money is tight. An hour or two here and there is better than no training. And an expert will see right away where you need a few hints.
