“A message from the future” gas prices are now almost $4.00 a gallon. I cant believe at one point gas was $1.19 for premium.

This is 1.19 per liter and not gallon to be fair too though...with the conversion from liters to gallons...makes for a price of 5.35CAD per gallon for premium at that location. In 2017 the avg exchange rate was 1CAD = 0.7713USD So the relative price he paid in 2017 for his gas was really 4.13 per gallon in the US... I definitely wasn't paying that much for premium in 2017 over in Connecticut... that's closer to the price I'm paying now

How does the guy on the bicycle get away with riding in the car lanes? In most places, they are restricted to the side of the street by the curb.

In my part of the US, bikers are allowed to ride on the roads or sidewalks, but have to follow the respective laws for whichever surface they're on. We don't have dedicated bike infrastructure The proper thing to do if I wanted to go left in this situation would have been to either 'be a pedestrian' and get on the sidewalk and wait to walk my bike through the crosswalk, or to 'be a vehicle' and take a spot in the left lane and wait for the light signal.
