I say this a million times when I watch these videos go to a hairdresser when doing a chemical service stop doing your perms at home . Do your research to find that stylist that will work for you.

OMG! That bloody detangling killed me! I loved my fro, I really did but puffs were snatching my edges something fierce. I workout 5 days a week and that didn’t help. Tangles from hell!! So after 7 years of being natural I did get locs. Trust me I thought of perming my hair again but it just wasn’t for me. You have to choose which works for you. Loose natural hair is beautiful but it’s hard work keeping it detangling. Good luck to you sis!! Ps I love both forms (natural & relaxed) of your hair.
@charsdiy1879
@charsdiy1879 3 жыл бұрын
Ah how is your hair with locs? I love rocking faux locs but don't think I could commit fully. And yes it is hard detangling if my pattern was a tad big looser I'd be fine but eh it's life lol. The shrinkage on top of constantly detangling hair that will tangle in no time is work .
@MassageReikiHealer
@MassageReikiHealer 3 жыл бұрын
@@charsdiy1879 Hey, there lady. I’m loving my Locs. Very convenient and I do understand what you’re saying about not being able to fully commit. It’s your journey, so you have to do you. Also have you tried using Moroccan red clay once a month? It’s a great clarifier and it made my detangling a bit easier. I had curls for Days when I did my twist outs.

She had unhealthy natural hair. If she put a protein treatment in her hair and deep conditioned at least once a month her natural hair would've been more manageable and looked much better. That dye also didn't help. I hope she takes better care of it now that its relaxed and she can manage it better..

Is it okay to use relaxer on dyed hair? I use garnier and I'm not sure if it is
@charsdiy1879
@charsdiy1879 3 жыл бұрын
I would say no especially if you're bleached. But I will say I've dyed my hair with garnier black box dye and permed it months later with no issues.
