Yeah man, I think that USB port makes it a perfect pedalboard power supply. You can use it for charging your phone or your wireless guitar transmitters etc. and the fact that it is rechargeable makes me want it even more. I'm getting myself one right away. With the xl 185 did you have to make any alterations to the existing frame ? Did you use the bearings from the ct forks or the xl forks? Or were you lucky enough to just make the swap with little or no effort? Being here in America can you define what a postie is.

You 'simulate' an amp, but then the signal runs through your own amp/speaker setup with its own characteristics? I don't get it. Is it meant to go into a recording digital interface only?

@@gearoiddom it has different modes depending on your use. Direct to interface or into an amp etc
@gearoiddom5 ай бұрын
@@Brennosguitarsandgear OK Thanks. I'm still confused though as to what is being achieved and why the 'into an amp' option is there at all. So - say we select a simulation of a Marshall stack on this pedal but we run that a small Peavey combo. We end up with some sort of hybrid tone. The ultimate colouration of the Peavey circuit and its inbuilt speaker cone can't be removed. That is the origin of the sound coming to our ears. Makes no sense. Only makes sense in a pedal direct to audio interface setup.

The boost pedal in the FX loop boost over all volume or just the effects in the loop? Why not put the boost in front of the pedal (before it)? Sorry for the dumb questions.
@Brennosguitarsandgear7 ай бұрын
Boost pedal in the FX loop brings up the overall volume without adding gain. Boost in front of the pedal adds gain and compresses the sound , but won’t significantly raise the volume, especially on an already gained up tone. Hope that makes sense
