They are heat and grow lights. They raise the temperature of the ground and stimulate growth of the grass.

I'd still say it will be on because we had no more snow last night as such. They've cleared the pitch of snow on match day before now. I remember Parky and other staff helping volunteers clear the snow at like 6am or something.

Great video, am a little surprised that the field was not tarped to protect it from the snow. Or is the grass hardy enough to survive and stay playable?

They had the grow lamps on there but no covering. I think it was last year they had a massive inflatable tent over the pitch with heating. It was provided by Sky Sports as they were televising the game and didn't want it called off.

OMG I just got to watch it last night!! I laughed my ass off when I saw Welshpool! I watched alone, so could laugh as loud as I wanted. LOVED the movie. Might watch a THIRD time...oh yeah...watched twice since last night. LOL Dancepool....captivating. I haven't been about as much, due to the election. I'm still stunned and numb about it. Had to dye the red in my hair to purple..couldn't look at my red/white/blue hair and stomach seeing the red part...the Republican party color. Nothing wrong with professional athletes pursuing a movie career after their playing days are over. If they are not interested in coaching or managing teams or doing broadcast reporting. It is the ones who are still playing on a team, who are pursuing these post playing careers, and not performing at what they are currently be paid for! Focus on what you are being paid to do! Not suggesting that is happening with Mr. Mullin, just have seen it in the past. At least that is the impression I was left with by some athletes.

I was just interested that it is always Mullin in the ads and played Welshpool. A few sports people have gone on to acting. Not saying he will but nothing surprises me with the club. Mullin is playing below par, I am really hoping , like last year he picks up around or before Christmas.

Stockport appears in almost every list of most desirable places to live in England; two of its three parliamentary seats are blue wall Tory (currently on loan to the Lib Dem’s after the 2024 election as people here do not vote Labour), and the town centre itself is a model of post-industrial regeneration. I understand that, but it can also motivate you, especially us because we're exceeding expectations as it is. So for us it's less pressure really, and that usually plays into our favour. Our first game in hand is a solid one, 26th November away at Wycombe

We beat Wycombe first game of the season and would never have imagined them where they are now. Stockport thrashed us 5-0 at their place last year, LOL With our squad dropping like flies I just want us to find some motivation. To be honest I think we are all exceeding except Crawley. It will be interesting to see where we are all in a couple of months.
